I think you should follow your own advice. Those fleeting comments by Al is four-five months old and nothing has happened yet.

It's great that you're not experiencing the same bugs as others are. Really, it is. But if you're not having those issues, it just annoys the hell out of people that do, when you go into threads and pretend that issues doesn't exist or imply that we're suffering from delusions just because it's working for you. You're not the only one in this world. Believe it or not, some people have problems.

I started out like that. Once.. I was as easy-going and simple as you kind folk. But ages of abuse has hardened my heart, and the dungeons is a harsh, harsh existance. To be hewn out of rock, it is, to not live in the sight of the Maker and his creations.

I got Oghy after patch 1.03, not sure after installing DA:A as I already had him. Will try & keep you posted.

I don't really think it's a 1.03 issue, because many of the reports of the same bug predates 1.03 by months.

Varenus, I take it you are necro'ing old threads in some bid to spam the forum with the issue of an Oghren bug that not all of us experience? If so, could you... not? Take it to the technical support forum, at least.

Well, confirming it's not Awakening either. It's never happened to me, so maybe you need to repair your game in the game config.

Four months ago & I see nothing in the 1.04 patch addressing this.

I have the Dwarven noble background.



I saw him argue with Lollinar, but he is not located in Tapsters tavern after that. He does not show before I go into the mines.



Patch 1.04



I have sided with Harrowmount & destroyed Jarvia. I have a saved game if you need, but I did use the console commands prior to going to Orzammar.

He'll show up before you're sent into the deep roads to go to Caradin's Cross to find Branka by one of the two leaders.

I had this bug last game. I was running a mage character and had selected Bhelen instead of Harromont. I usually choose Harrowmont and have never had an issue with Oghren.

My thoughts are this:

Somehow Oghren's marker has gotten turned off because when you side with Bhelen you have to go down to the deep roads  once first, to find Lord Dace.

Oghren's marker does not get turned back on when you go down to find Branka and thusly Oghren never appears.

When siding with Harrowmont this problem does not appear, because you only go down to the deep roads to find Branka.

Please fix this issue.

This is only my thoughts on it as a modder from Oblivion and Morrowind. I don't know how you spawn npc's in Dragon age.
