How am I supposed to keep up with TWO Leliana fan threads?? :pinched: Joining multiple Leliana fan groups isn't much of a problem. Only thing is, they all call themselves the official fangroup. :?

This thread is born out of a group I created for Leliana, which evolved from a blog I wrote about this free spirited, carefree, and humanistic soul.

Frankly, I am excited that there is an older thread in circulation that celebrates Leliana.  Her character is enviable.  Dragon Age Origins becomes alive for me, not only because of its tactical aspect, but because of its awesome storytelling and how each character is weaved, thus attributing life to each of them that is akin to our own, while intelligently meshing the nuances of society, of life into the core of the game.

I will gladly post on any threads that are discussing Leliana or Dragon Age for that matter.  Hence, thanks for bringing this thread to my attention.Image IPB


As for Seb Hanlon, leaving a blank post, I asked him to test the thread for me, because some of my friends could not post.  He checked and the problem is resolved.  You posting on it proves that it is. Image IPB

It's true, the characters in Dragon Age Origins feel like real living persons to me. They have a rich history, unlike those games where you are presented with a person who says something like this: "Hi, I'm Karel and I was a thief once. How are you? Shall we travel together and stop evil "while we drink ourselves clip" (Google Translation :P)? " And basically, you know nothing of them in the end. Only that (in this case) Karel is a thief and your companion. While in Dragon Age they explain how persons got in their positions and how their lives once were (Like Leliana explains how she was born in Ferelden and why she went back to Orlais and then back to Ferelden again).

It's always good to have more women and men aboard the Leliana ship. ;)

And I think I might as well join that Leliana group. I can never join too many of 'em! Though it'll be pretty hard to separate each group from each other, considering they're all THE Leliana group or the OFFICIAL group... :?:mellow::blush:
