Dunno if this has been posted before, but Dominus on the GoG forums posted a link to a website, which contains details on Black Isle.  One of the pages is a description of all the Black Isle games that got cancelled, some of which sound rather awesome (BG3: The Black Hound for instance, a 'low key affair').  Take a look:
