I have an area that has a balcony that faces a mountain range - or at least as a goal it will.

Is it possible to make a card or some other placeable with a sky texture - possibly nabbed from the existing horizons or similar perspective? Ideally it will not be larger than 1 x 3 tiles or 1 x 5 tiles (to fill the field of vision).

Any links to or directions for achieving this would be appreciated.

Swapping textures is no problem for me...

Any idea where the horizons are stored?

I'll have a look for myself as well...

Morbane, check out the link. It tells you how to make placeable cards from taking a screen shot in the toolset (be sure to make it look as in game as you can manage) and I believe, if done properly and edited, you could probably take an in-game screenie and make it into a placeable card just like you're asking to do. I'm sure this will do the trick for you.

Yep, I actually found a panorama in google images of some nice mountains. Using the method listed above, I now have a mountain card placeable. A little tweaking and it'll be good to go.

Thanks KM & dno.

I actually found - well sort of - the sky rings. They were linked to the skyring.2da - unfortunately the dds files associated with the skyring models were not a simple picture of a sky, rather some sort of texture swap that gets put together in some way. Just FYI...
