I actually have a problem relating to the female avatars and voices in DA:O. Thing is, whilst I'm ostensibly a straight woman with a male significant other, I am pretty butch. I've been lifting weights for over 20 years and whilst I eat far too much to have a frightening amount of definition, I do have a nice wide back and shoulders, and a chest that is more muscle than boob. I find it hard to relate to the skinny-armed, big busted avatars we're given to play with, and I find all the human female voicesets too high-pitched and screechy. The only way I can play a human female in DA is to get her into massive armour at the earliest opportunity which minimises the bust somewhat.
On the other hand, if I make a nice looking male, at least I have something good to look at on screen.

You should be playing dwarves.  Them be some kickass ladies.

I've finished Origins with a female Brosca, and was quite fond of her, but I didn't feel strongly enough about her to carry her on into Awakening. I'm very human-centric.

Not sure if you're a console or PC player, but if the latter have you seen this mod:

Changes, specifically:
* span of characters' shoulders was reduced.
* in some cases thickness of arms was increased, to match what could be expected from physically active characters.
* hand size was reduced to 90% of the original.
*
the overall outline of bodies was adjusted to match shape of characters
included in body mods like Natural Bodies/Realistic Look.
* gender-specific variants were added for massive armour models.
* default single mesh for light armour was replaced by 3 separate variants to better match variants created by armour textures.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but it does remove a bit of the buxom-bombshell qualities.

It may be a glitch, but the link you've given is showing a 404 error. Which is weird as going there from tmp's profile works. What Lupus is linking to is the human female proportions fix.

Are there any mods that give alternate voice sets?

I think there is a mod somewhere that enables you to chose the voice set from all races. Maybe if there are some dwarven/elven voice sets that you like better for a human for example? Can't remember where I found it but I can do some research if you want.
