Hoping some wonderful person could tell me where to get Morrigan's cowl/hood that she's wearing on the initial load screen when you boot up?

Its purple, comes down on oth sides, and has a feather type frill on the top. It looks awesome and unique and I want it for her and my party. There are so few cowl variations in the game, I hope it wasn't for the collector's edition only.

Please help with how to get it. Also, does anyone know if there releasing the collector's edition stuff for download at some point? I love this game and Bioware, but I missed out on the collector's edition.Posted Image

Nooooo! That sucks, if true. Why have it on the load screen art and in several of the art advertisments and not include it? I hope someone at Bioware can answer?

Well there are many things in concept art that dont exist. Mage hair style for one. IT dosent exist in game bro. And do you really need a answer from bioware?

Its not hair style bro, its a cowl that appears on the first piece of art every time you load the game. I would think it would be in the game, and yes, a Bioware moderator, at least, should answer why/if it is not in-game, when its so prominent in the art of the game.

I also wanted to see actual ditties. Other than that, this game is the best fantasy rpg on the planet.

At least it isn't Forza 3 - I bought that game and expected to drive some of my favorite cars, only to discover they were 'limited edition' or not even available - mainstream stuff, too, like the Corvette ZR1 and Ferrari 458 - a car they 'showcased' in an ad where the camera just swept around the car for 60 seconds.

A mage's cap design is pretty minor in the scheme of things

I could only dream of having a hood looking that good , all the mage hats look like total garbage tribal shaman wear.

English is hard. I was making that hairstyle as another example.

While the exact cowl does not exist, you can modify one of the cowl models to look purpleish, creating a custom item of it which you can then use in your gameplay. Not really satisfactory I know, but it's something.

@SuSu Sudio: I feel you pain, that would suck.

@Leetabix: I only have found the default one and a slightly moded version of that one. The game does need way more cowls, IMO.

@jsog: I have the PS3 version. How do you modify cowl colors, or is that for PC only?

beserker7: I do not know... can you use the toolset on the Ps3 version? :( can you use custom content created by other players? I don't know how all of this works for those without the PC version.

I agree on needing more cowls. If I knew more of this stuff, I'd make one for each of the color combinations, and put them on a merchant in the camp. I absolutely despise the helmet selection in this game... :(

Thanks for your replys, jsog. I don't think you can custom content for console versions. Maybe they will hear are pleas and make a bunch of different cowls, including Morrigan's on load screen, for DLC. They could put them with the collector's edition items and armor and I would buy it in a second.

The headwear in this otherwise exelent game is very dissapointing in general. Surprizing, concidering all that old school concept art they've released. Would it hurt to include plain hoods, for use with both rough and mage? It's also very wrong that bad-ass blood mages use the same nice looking circle robes. Makes no sense...

Check out concept art at http://dragonage.bio...acters/morrigan - the cowl is an integral part of Morrigan's robe
