Downloaded the WH 1.1 standalone version. When I install it it wants to install Patch 1.04 - then fails and then aborts installation.


So we get a new bug with the fixed WH1.1?

I'm having the same issue. I downloaded WH 1.1 outside of the game and when I install it, it first tries to install 1.04 (already installed) then gives me a installation failure error. Tried downloading WH and Golems in-game and both experienced download failures part way through. Bleah.

What is the name of the file you are receiving? If you go to http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php, you should see Witch Hunt registered and a link that reads. "Download (stand-alone) - PC ". Be sure you are downloading from that link and try installing again.

that's where i got the install from. just did it today and it's coming up with that problem

blackfrost3113, check your PM box. We'll see if we can look at a couple of your logs to see where the failure is occurring.

I'm having issues with the Witchhunt DLC as well, via in-game download and the standalone version from the entitlements section.



In-game version just keeps coming up with an installation failed error and the standalone version gets to about halfway along and then fails when it tries to "Extract: texturepack.erf".



Anyone have any ideas?

I am also having a similar issue, I bought it ingame and started the install but it remains at 0% and says it requires 1.0.4 to continue which I have installed.

i had the same problem, it somehow got fixed. I was downloading ingame, then it failed. I restarted the game and logged in again and the download restarted and it finished now. Good luck to everyone who still has problems.

Been busy the last couple of days so no chance of checking back here. I get the exact same message as Blackfrost3113



Downloaded the standalone version of WH1.1 patch. DAO_WitchHunt.exe is the file name.



Any news about the subject?

I should have checked the forums before re installing DAO, then Awakening, Then patch 1.04, THEN Witch hunt 1.1 - twice.



Same error. Failed to install. I'll just go pout somewhere in the corner...

So I take it the one you get from the game itself (if you downloaded it like today) is the older version and not the new 1.1 one?

Just thought I'd add my name to the list.  I'm getting the same error with the stand-alone patcher.
