I had the same problem, but I managed to install the patch through the DAUpdater, NOT through the stand-alone patch.

when i use the updater. it shows my patchs are not up to date i have paid for all the addon's and only have to that took. and on the other add on that did not take.. the addon's that will not take have red number's like 1.1 and 1.4 and fail every time.. i also sent messages on your offical site and still nothing back.... your going to lose alot of money over this ...refund....

I installed WH without patch and it dwnloaded fine but now it does not appear in Otjher Campaigns and if I check it in game it says it is still downloading, although it has downloaded already and so does nothing other than say 0% downloaded. What should I do?

Have you tried reinstalling the WH?

Okay, bought it, downloaded it, but failed install although I had installed the patch 1.04. So I thought: The Forum, there will be the answer. But I see everyone else has the same problem. Bummer.

Ok.. Not sure if this will fix it. But I just ran the download as "Administrator" and it loaded successfully. Hope this helps others.

I was quite sure this couldn't actually be a solution honestly, but since I had tried everything else I could think of, I gave it a go.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this DLC was totally not worth buying or all the frustration with the patch..... total letdown.

I'll chime in aswell saying that running the installer as an administrator worked like a charm. WH installed and got the proper dialoques / endings my character were hoping for.

I bought it and downloaded it in game - it installed witchcraft fine, took ages but claimed to install the full DLC, but it now wants me to buy it again. Tried downloading outside the game but it won't let me download! Argh

ok... listen up...i bought this witch hunt.... 2 days ago.. dowloading it already was hell... now..this junk won't even install... it says the same like everyone else: failed to apply patch 1.04 while i reinstalled the patch for over 20 times... updater does NOT work and i have no settings that say: download as main user... i would like to get some help on this.. however it's is the first and last time i will ever buy DLC since it's thievery... and i have a question; this Ultimate edition does it have those DLC's like witchhunt.. i really hope it has.. are they ON CD instead of those redeem codes because those don't work either: the stone guardian and so on... quiete disappointing and could i get some help please

what is your operating system XP? Vista? In Vista you just right-click the exe file and choose run as administrator from the drop down menue. It installed the game for me. However all of a sudden i'm not authorized to access it ingame. It claims that i havnt logged in as correct user, but i only have ONE user. Suddenly i'm not authorized to access Stone Prisoner either, but ALL other add-ons (Lelliana's song and Darkspawn chronicles).

You are quite correct in your statement that these games are more hastle then they are worth.

I hope one thing... when the ultimate collection comes out.. they put it on cd... because this stuff.. is BAD commerce

and now i find myself in this situation: UNAUTHORIZED..... EA wth are doing with us? it is enabled but i'm not authorized.... i am deeply disappointed in the service and product quality of EA.....

when ultimate edition comes out first thing i ask is... are there redeemer codes involved? Yes!? ok i don't want it... and than i'm not buying dragon age 2 although i really wish to see how it ends with sweet exy morrigan... which is why i am so pissed off right now... i feel robbed and backstabbed as you probably all do.... since no one got it to work and i'm not buying it IN GAME  since i already HAVE the download.. Bioware. PLEASE FIX THIS

I fixed this problem running the installer with administrator rights.
