Uploaded a Magical Key to the vault it should be up there if they approve it.I sent a mesh to them that was compressed into a rar file.I couldnt take a screenshot with fraps because when gmax is open it sucks up all my buttons.Its a untextured model with 381 polys.If someone wants the model give me a emailadress and ill send them the rar.

I'd be more than happy to texture it, but if there's anything specific you want on it you'd probably have to say! PMed you my E-Mail address. :)

Looks like the entry was approved on the vault.
If you could post a screenshot when its done it be cool.Id try to stick to a color that they could see on a tablee i guess.Actually that file might need to be resized in gmax...Im not sure what sizes are for nwn but i guess that can be done after texturing.

I've got two unfinished brooms and for a module I need a saw, so I thought this weekend I'll make a few tools for the commoners. I think The Amethyst Dragon mentioned that a holdable broom exists somewhere, but I never saw one - speaking of saws, I never saw a saw either and a hammer that doesn't look like a weapon would be nice too. I will make a shovel, rake, two brooms, a hammer and a saw.

Not sure about the holdable brooms - although I think I've seen them used somewhere, too - but The Amethyst Dragon did make some mops (click here).

Tools! Yeah!!! I have not seen a holdable saw (I'm guessing you mean a simple hand saw not a chainsaw) or hammer. Wonderful idea!

Yes, there are holdable brooms. I have one. *grins* It is a magic staff. I *think* it might have come from Bloodmonkey's Rods, Staves & Wands v1.01 hak.

As for my part, if y'all have any *new* food icons that are needed, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with. I have zero skills with drawing so I'd have to be able to find an existing image to make the icon from. Presently I have requests for donuts, ice cream and a malt shake.

Also, if the group wanted, I could do a simple loadscreen, based on a map screen shot, that showcases all the new content. Yes, I'm grasping at straws here to figure out a way to contribute. *sassy grin*

Haven't had much time as of late, but I started work on some static clothing placeables. My heart's not really in it, though -- I really can't think of anything a tiny bit more interesting to model (I've been making body part clothing models for the past 2 months and I never thought I'd say it, but clothes are a bit boring at the moment)! :P

Alternatively I could make a selection of hat "robe" models, but there's so many clipping issues with them and long hair I'm not sure if anyone would want them.

Hmmm, has anyone thought of updating the standard NWN heads to have colored eyes/lips as part of this challenge? That is FAR beyond my limited CC skills.

How are things going with the new commoner goodies?

Thanks to the "bad" influences of Calvin and Estelindis, I might have some of the missing head plts done from the link Calvin posted above.

Actually... I'd love to have a wider selection in hat "robe" models. Admittedly, the clipping issues can be pretty bad but that's something I'll gladly accept for more variety.

In that case I'll quickly whip together the textures for the hats and post them up (eep, 2 days). :)

Here are the plts. These are my first attempts at putting clown make-up on NPCs. So be brutal with anything y'all find wrong. The colors used in the screenies are (and yes, red lipstick looks a BIT goofy on the guys):

tat 1 = 37 (eyes)

tat 2 = 149 (lips)

skin = 2

hair = 22

My two male outfits, the jacket/shirt and the rough tunic, are finished with icons and models for all races for the regular phenotype only. They're numbered 186 and 187, making them coincide with Lisa's fantastic commoner dresses as male versions.

Grab 'em here.

Nice looking heads Rafhot. Could you send me the files so that I can include them in the release?

Hey folks. :-) Initially I had decided to try making some placeable clothes, but after the October challenge I think I need something relatively simple. Accordingly, I'm gonna throw together a few kitchen terrain tiles for the city interior tilesets (original and 2). Don't expect anything fancy, but they should do the job of adding variety to commoners' homes and tavern kitchens. ;-)

Tiles... Simple... really?
Funny how I find those words don't go well together XD

Actually, yanno, I'm not sure tiles are so much as a learning curve as a series of steep jumps. It's plain sailing once you get over 'em. Although working with existing tiles tends to be far more difficult than making new ones (not least due to the fact that Bioware's tilesets are so horrendously put together to begin with - no offense to the lovely sods).

I'm very interested to see what can be put together for a more kitcheny looking kitchen, as opposed to the strange industrial looking ones we're currently lumbered with. I guess nobody has thought it an exciting enough topic to be worth improving on in the past.

I think I'm going to put together some placeable clothing stands/lines based on my commoner outfits too at some point. Probably not nearly in time for this month's challenge, but they'll find a release somewhere along the line.
