Are there any specific items that module developers out there would like to see included in the first release? (At present I'm staying away from cursed items and permanent change items.) Thanks.
Suggestions for new magic items?

I've got a little project going where I'm building a huge number of blueprints for magic items that are not in the NWN2 commercial releases, along with custom icons and tag-based scripts where necessary. I've got a pretty large set already build, including such novelties as ring of x-ray vision, robe of scintillating colors, bag of tricks, axe of returning, deck of many things, arrows of translocation, and horn of valhalla. (I'm sure others have done some of these already, but these will have my own unique twist. Shrug.
)

Some stuff from Libris Mortis might be cool. Nothing like some necro-type items...

Can you can pull off a flying carpet?
I guess that would require an expansion with mounts.

Thanks! I grabbed a copy off the net and I'll try to include items where they can be adopted.

Yes I'm trying to adopt items from BG2, where it makes sense. I haven't seen "The Big Metal Unit" yet though. I'll have a look around.

Yes I'm including some ioun stones along with the visual effect. I'm implementing them as extraordinary effects that you have to re-activate after resting (to fit the item descriptions). But that will probably get annoying I suppose.

That's probably one of those things like a magical rope that doesn't really seem to have a good game mechanic.Perhaps it could be used to activate the world map?

Yes I know there are some ioun stones on the Vault, thanks. I'm basically ignoring the Vault in the interest of novelty, and I didn't want to just merge in other people's items because that might seem a little rude.

I understand your point of view rjshae, though by the same token, there's no point in reinventing items that are already out there unless, they function in a quite different way. Otherwise we end up having stuff that conflicts for no apparent purpose.
