Hi there,

i posted this in the general questions forum, but had to be vague to avoid spoilers...suggested i ask here instead so can be a little more descriptive.

basically - there is a point of interest on my radar on Feros, and i can't access it at all or even find it on the map.

Tbere first time i noticed it was in the room containing gavin hossle's console - it appeared to be through the wall on the left as you enter the room, yet there is no room there on the map on either the upper or main level of the exo-geni maps.

i then realised that the point could also correspond to the place where you are forced to get out of the Mako after traversing the prothean skyway, so thought would have a look around on the way back. the point of interst itself appears to be directly located at a pile of rubble on the radar, but does not appear on teh map - this leads me to believe that it must be underneath the rubble. however, i cannot find any route down there at all...searched through all the rubble inside the entrance hall to exo-geni and there is nothing there, and there is nothing outside that i can see either...

does anyone know how to get to this?

thanks in advance for any help

You mean you arrived the Exogeni upper parts, where is this force field bloking you?
You have jumped down?

i'll try and describe the location as closely as possible.

(point of interest abbreviated to POI)

- after getting to the end of the prothean skyway towards exo-geni hq, in the space where you have to get out of the Mako...the map is titled exo-geni main level, but have yet to enter the building at all. The POI appears to be about 5 steps past the pile of rubble about halfway along that space (stretches over the entire width of the skyway), on the side of the entrance to exo-geni.

- the POI can also be seen on the radar whilst inside exo-geni HQ. in the upper level it can be seen from the room where you kill 3 krogens and access gavin hossle's console, but there does not appear to be a room there which corresponds to that location.

it does not appear on the map for either the upper or main level of exo-geni, just on the radar, which is what leads me to believe it is under the pile of rubble.

the easiest way to pinpoint the location would be to say that it is as soon as you cross the threshold from the exo-geni approach map to the exo-geni main level map...my character is standing on top of the POI according to the radar, and his position on the map is pretty much at the transition point...

The only thing I can imagine is that you're talking about the geth hiding under the skyway. There are portions of the skyway that pass over one another, so you may think it's where you are while it is a level or so below you. If this is the case, there are several openings along the "median" of the skyway, in which several geth are slumming.

Ahh, you talk skyway travel between two exogeni location. Yeah, there is small underground "tunnels", you can access them from open entrance on skyway. So geths can be next to you (under) but you need to find nearest entrance to those small tunnel parts.

i guessed it might be underneath the skyway (found a couple of hidden rooms whilst travelling along it with bad dudes in), but i can't find an access point. i have checked all around the main entrance hall to exo-geni in case it was around one of the piles of rubble, but nothing there...and i can't find an access point on the skyway that is close enough to get to that bit...

is there a picture upload function on here? i can take a quick one with my phone now and upload it is there is to show you the location...

cheers for the site!

ok - first photo is in game, shepherd is pointing at the POI which is pretty much directly in front of him on the radar (http://img543.images...hoto0005tq.jpg/)

second photo is from the map screen - shepherd is in the bottom right (sorry is a bit blurry), and is standing in exactly the same position as where the first photo was taken (http://img840.images...photo0006a.jpg/)

Huh. I honestly don't remember ever seeing that. There aren't any hidden tunnels or important quest spots there, though, so my best guess would just be that they marked the entrance to the ExoGeni facility.

If you want to make sure you aren't missing anything on Feros, it could help to check out the wiki page on it (http://masseffect.wi...os:_Geth_Attack). Best of luck, and happy geth hunting!

coolness, cheers for looking into it for me! aye, could be a mis-marked transition point, or maybe even a random indicator left in from something they decided to remove possibly...

either way will ignore if nothing actually there - back to the mission!

thanks again

I've always wondered that myself. I believe I eventually just went with "it must indicate that's the way to go".

Seems pretty pointless to do so though. Either that or it's one the consoles you encounter later in the complex.

If you're referring to the spot I circled in red, it should be the 'official' entry point to the building.
IIRC once you cross over that area, the game should autosave (unless you disabled it).
