Yesterday I tried to download to objects a storage chest and a mage armor from the projects page, I dont know what happened but some how I lost mine and my partners saves
The saved are still in the Dragon Age folder but once you load up the game the only option that I have is to start a new gane. Now I dont know if I stuffed up, the downloads stuffed up or if it was a glitch in the game.
If this has happened to anyone else or if there is a was a way to save our games please reply as I'm in trouble for losing my partner's lesbian mage

Can you give a little bit more detail? Did you play the characters at all after installing the mods? What mods specifically ( links please ) did you install?

That is troubling, forest. Let's try removing the mods first and see if we can't get you worked out.
Try this first:
1) Load toolset, goto tool > export > Empty Export Directories - If you don't have the toolset installed (and never did) you can skip this step.
2. FIND:
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules
Delete anything called single player
3. FIND:
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules\\\\single player\\\\override
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\modules\\\\single player\\\\override
Delete anything in this folder
4. FIND:
Windows XP: My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override
Windows Vista: Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override
Delete anything in this folder
While we're at it, give me a listing of what's in your Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\AddIns folder.

Sorry
I was trying to get on again before someone replied.
I still have no idea how it happened but some how I got two seperate Dragon Age folders and my first two games just so happened to be in the first folder, it was a matter of moving the saved files across so now I have my original characters back and my partner will forgive me for losing his game.
I wonder how I did it cause I didnt touch the folders. oh well, worked out in the end
thank you for your help
