I apologize in advance if this isn't the right place for this; does anyone know the proper way to include the contents of an area that has been exported from the toolset in a dazip file?
Including area list and related files in dazip

I believe you are referring to area layout files since area list files are database resources and should automatically be picked by the B2P process.
If so,
extract the dazip somewhere. Create a env folder at the same level as the data folder under your addin/core. Copy the exported layout folder into your env folder [it should look something like addin name\\core\\env\\layout folder name - do not package it in an erf file]
Zip the folder up and change the extension to .dazip.
At least, that's how I did it for the Community Contest 2 and it seems to work fine.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for the information; I'll see if I can somehow automate the process, but I'll do it manually until then.

Thanks for the info TimeLord. I'll be needing this shortly.
Just wanted to add, if you use winrar. You can open the dazip and navigate, copy and paste just like its a normal file window. So open it, navigate to addins core data, paste the folder. It'll probably ask do you wanna add to archive. Ok and done.
I do the samething for changing the manifest to do Awakenings versions.

I notice that every add-in has an Assets folder, which appears to be intended to hold source material. Did anyone try to do a B2P from that?
I tend to keep my source in a secure location, since there are known toolset bugs involving path names and unwanted file creation. However, this is a bit clunky when it comes to distributing the module with source.
