I bought the Coll. Ed of ME 2 when it first came out.... I've never un-installed the game since I bought it. The game disks themselves are in perfect condition just as they were when I bought them. I've just recently had to up-grade my computer. The first disk installs perfectly fine.... The problem is that I get continuous prompts to "insert disk 2" I insert disk 2... close my DVD tray-- but it immediately ejects the disk and re-prompts me to insert disk 2. This is a continuous pattern...... I'm very worried/frustrated. I don't wanna have to re-purchase this game; I don't think I'd be able to find another CE version anywhere......
Can someone PLEASE HELP......???
Is there a fix? What should I do???

Did you get a new CD drive as well if so use your old 1 to install ME2. You can also update the firmware on the CD drive if its a new 1 that may also help.

Many thanks to those who responded to my earlier post made in distress..... I"ve since been able to solve the problem on my own.... It just required patience! The problem was that I wasn't giving the DVD drive enough time to read the disk... I was forcing the prompt, which shall I say... confused the system. But all is well now.....
