Lets hope Bioware can be understanding for us who didn't know it didn't work, but apparently they are already sending alot of emails. Oh well.

I was subscribed to the bioware newsletter but not the dragon age one.. not sure if that makes a difference. I didnt get the email about this item yet.

Put in you email address and click "Check this email address" and then make sure you're subscribed to the "Bioware Community Newsletter" and "Dragon Age Newsletter", I really don't know which one covers the item codes but I found myself subscribed to both when I checked, if not, then subscribe to them through the same page and you'll still get the code.

I'm not sure if that's what it is. I'm listed as not receiving any mail from those lists but I still got the code. And it was using an old email address.

I'm not sure either, but that address was included in the destiny trailer E-mail..... that's very recent, if it doesn't work it shouldn't have been there, or maybe they overlooked it but that way we have no idea how to manage our subscribtions.... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Calm down man, it's not a big deal, they already said it'll take them days to send out all the codes, my guess is that their mailing list sends the codes to those who registered last first, makes sense, wait for a few days and if you properly subscribed you'll get your code and if not I'm sure they might release it as a dlc or someone will mod it into the game, no worries.

It's Parthalan, but yeah I read wrong it the first time too 

Maybe it does, after all they're quite close, god I just hope elves have a big role in DA2 no matter what it is, I love 'em!

Yeah, but we don't know if we are properly subscribed. I followed the instruction they give us to subscribed to the newsletter but i never received a mail saying that i was succesfully subscribed to the newsletter or something.

You already got the Destiny trailer E-mail, that's as good as a confirmation we could get right now, it'd be better a mod told us why some got the E-mail and other didn't, and it'd really best for the whole Bioware social site to move to a proper social networking platform instead of developing its own, that'd solve a lot of the problems with the forums and subscriptions and such but that's not the place to talk about it :innocent:

Well all (most to be exact) the pre-order items for Origins didn't carry to Awakening but they were under-powered anyway, and while I hope this will not be the case with DA2 IF there'll be an expansion pack at all, I rather they spent time working on more important things than compatibility between in-game modules.

You know this why I always check the whole thread for replies by Devs and/or Mods before replying even if I the thread was like 50 pages I still check it so I don't be in your position.

Also, I didn't recieve any newsletters from bioware. Checked my mail, I had subscribtion link. Maybe I forgot to activate it, but I'm not sure O_o

 I'm not sure if I'll get this or not.  Tbh this is the first I'm hearing about it. 

I got e-mails about darkspawn chronicles, another email from EA about darkspawn chronicles and other EA game content, an email from EA about saving money on dragon age, a DA email about Amgarrak, and another DA email about Witch Hunt.  Those last two say they're from Dragon Age: Origins.

So was I signed up?  Is this a DA2 specific newsletter?

I think I really missed out.  Sad day:(

So if we get Dragon age for both the PC and console, and they are both tied to the same social account...

REDEEMING YOUR CODE NOW IS OK!  We do not expect you to have to hang on to the email until launch.

However, it might only appear on your list of DLC here on social closer to DA2 launch.  Unless you got an error when redeeming, the item is there and we'll roll that out on to your list of content as soon as we can so you can confirm.

The code is redeemed on an account here on social.  If you have more than 1 account on social then first login to the one you want the staff for - the code has 1 use only, and once redeemed on one account it will not be usable on another. 

Particularly important for console players - If you have more than 1 social account, ensure your gamertag or psn account name is correctly linked to the account you are redeeming the code against (social shows the gamertag/psn account name at the top of the redeem page). 

And for those still waiting for the item - as Chris mentioned, it may still take a few days to send the email to everyone, please be patient and give it a few more days.
