That's from the E-mail, it's as official as it gets, to have bioware rep confirm it is just a waste of time and effort.

It says something about telling your friends.
Perhaps there is a link or icon somewhere you have to click to send one friend a link. Or thaqt that you must refer them so they an activate the code.

But mainly, it just confuses me why Bioware would announce that this was only avaliable during the con, Change their minds, and then NOT say anything about it in the thread that they stikied.
Kinda a big change, and something you would think bioware would want to tell people about.

Did you register on http://dragonage.bioware.com/ ? because that newsletter register didn't work for alot of people, including me, it says "account updated" when you're infact not signed up for it, instead go to http://accounts.biow...ccount/nsl.html and sign up there Inzhuna.

Yeah, I remember signing up for it and I didn't get it at first.  But yeah I reregistered for it just now, and I hope that I get it.

But I won't loose any sleep if I do, really promotional stuff like this isn't really the greatest item in the game, its good to have to give to your squadmates because they can pack a punch.

I can only hope the info that signing up in october will get me a code for the staff is true.

I clearly registered for the newsletter on the Dragon Age website during the promotional period since subsequent visits do not allow me to register again. Yet, when I visit accounts.bioware.com/my_account/nsl.html, it says my account is set not to receive the dragon age newsletter. I have not received the Staff of Parthalan code. Guess the screw up means I wouldn't be receiving it.

Yeah bioware screwed up the website signup, but since you already have the link to the other sign up page i wont link it, you should be fine and if you sign up now you'll get it later in october or early novemeber.

I was able to redeem mine and it worked.It was mentioned somewhere on this thread that you were able to redeem the code but it wouldn't show up yet until DA2 releases.
