A. Polearms are a class of weapons in DA2
B. This Polearm can be used by Warriors

If not, I will be sad. But I'll give it to Beth, or whichever Mage I bring with me. If its a good enough weapon, that is. If it sucks, well then forget it.


I believe it has been confirmed in a U-stream that there are no polearms, only swordstaves (which I'm guessing are mage-specific). In the gameplay thread, Peter Thomas kind of dodged the question and said, if it's there it would be put in with one of the other talent sets (2-handed most likely), but whether there are any such weapons is an art direction question.

If you get a friend to sign up on your recommendation you get the code as well I think.

I don't see any box in the sign-up thing for "recommended by"..?

I was under the impression from Dave of Canada's post that you could sign up in October and still get the item personally.

Reading the email I just got with the code, you can still get the code for the staff if you sign up for the newsletter during the month of October.

Its not like there is any rush to use a code that won't be any good until March:P

 Although I appreciate bioware giving me a free weapon for being signed up to their newsletter, im quite sure that even with the email saved to safe place, that I will forget about it by the time dragon age 2 comes out.

I said site I have no interest in. I am very much interested in this site. Many reasons but one of the big ones being the purple waffle making money that pee's Canadian Maple Syrup I was told by a reliable source is up in the Demonton offices...

If you are using IE and don't see the sign up boxes (mid-right on the http://dragonage.bioware.com/ site), use something else like Firefox. It worked for me . . . (but not until a few minutes ago, so I fear I am too late, but yet remain hopeful...).  Image IPB

thanks a ton for the update. I got mine and I wouldn't have even checked for a few weeks. this news softens the blow the my DAO figures are still a few months out due to some shipping problems.
