*gasp* You're going to pawn off what's basically a family heirloom? Shame on you. Momma Hawke should give you a good spanking.

Brothers in arms, us two. We should form a troop and regularly entertain the devs. Maybe they'll give us cookies if we make them laugh enough.

It depends. I have been a fool, but I deserve a good kick, not a cookie.
Meanwhile, I'll keep waiting for the code. And the Witch Hunt patch. Nearly a month has passed and it isn't available yet. Grrrr...

1. I want waffles not cookies.
2. I can be pretty sure part of the problem is how I have this horrible blind spot. As in I CANT ever find something I am looking for. I find what I dont want. Those that know me personally know better to ask me to find something.
3. Waffles please.
Edit: still willing to pay for an item pack for all those "special" items I am sure to be put out there. Like the damned Gamespot items and how the ME2 items were handled.

I hope this wasn't a "First hundred to sign up gets a free bonus item!!" type of thing.
...and make room on that boat for me!

No but an Irish Spectre owns it.

That's fine with me. As long as he doesn't try to scare me at night.

Lots of foreshadowing in the item's description.
Yeah... almost TOO much <_<. Heck, if Bioware wanted to announce that Hawke's purpose is to help destroy the chantry's oppression of mages, why beat around the push with an ominous description of an in-game weapon?
Besides that, I didn't do anything so I wouldn't have known about this. Heck its not that big a deal to me, as I'm starting to see a trend of "over-saturation" of downloadable weapons/armor in Bioware games lately. Mass Effect 2's is definitely guilty of this, especially since there's no helmet toggle for the first 3 major DLC armors. You get very little use. About the only reason I'm glad I pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 is because the Blackstorm Singularity projector was worth it.
Same with Dragon Age Origins: Blood Dragon Armor, I discovered, didn't transfer to Awakening, so my first warden was left naked previously (until whatever game update gave the standard Grey Warden armor). So I ended up always equipping either Oghren, Sten or Alistair with it. As for weapons, the sheer amount of them can be overwhelming when adding DLC weapons (and I'm the type of RPG player that likes big inventories). So a lot of cool stuff I may have paid for doesn't get as much use.
The Staff of Parthalan looks pretty cool, though. For now, I'll just wait for the game's release and play with whats in the game itself, and if I find weapon/armor choice lacking, THEN I'll look around or wait for special download packs for weapons/armor.
