OH! lol.. That kind of gauge.. There very well could be a mod for this, though I haven't seen one. Never know, there's mods for practically everything else lmao.. Even so, it doesn't seem like something that would be hard to do (although I'm not experienced with the toolset hardly at all..). If you don't get any responses about a mod already existing for this, I would suggest going through the projects page, finding a modder who has made similar aesthetic mods and PM them. Some of them are very nice and more than willing to do a little modding work, if they are still active, that is.

Something that physically alters the ear isn't really practical because of the way the head morph system works. Although you could possibly try faking it by adding on the lower, distorted part of the ear to the earring and trying to disguise/hide the original lobe on the head. It would be very difficult to get something that would have the flexibility to cope with the variable ear positions though.
