Why the reapers will win, the protheteans knew about the reapers and still lost(my reason for this is all those pyramid things you find in ME1 what space species builds pyramids in hidden out of the way locations if they dont know whats coming). So humanity and all of life will lose although im not against some galatic doomsday weapon or some alien race from another galaxy showing up and showing the reapers what for

Judging by the last scene we saw in Mass effect 2 most likely we are going to get annihilated by the crapload of reapers. I don't see how we can win, unless bioware gives us some sort of solution that could possibly give us a chance in destroying the reapers.

I wonder if the sun on Haestrom has anything to do with the Reapers... Imagine, fly in, switch off the lights and the heat and kill anyone fumbling around, panicking in the dark, looking for a blanket. Heh heh.

That would be interesting. Perhaps at the end, Shepherd would be forced to make the choice that Saren did - to give himself over to the Reapers. Perhaps working with them is the lesser of two evils. Maybe ME3 could have Shep fighting against them until at last succumbing to them.

If you had to destroy all life in the universe to kill the reaper, but know that life would eventually come back but without the threat of reapers would you do it?

Not really.  They don't kill everyone when they harvest or humanity would have been killed off with the protheans.  And it is not really killing, they preserve the species as a reaper, so in a way it is giving them immortality.

Humanity only survived because 50,000 years ago, humans weren't exactly a civilized race.  In fact we were probably either in the middle of an ice age or between ice ages at that point, and we were using stone tools.  To the Reapers, humanity would've been upright animals--not ripe for harvesting, I'm afraid.

well i am a fan of crispy, baked treats. if they maintain a wide variety of cookies, i may have no choice but to join their noble cause

I think the option will presented to us, if its possible to have shepards mind be incorperated into the reaper as the dominant conciousness, not just simple paste.

I'd rather like to see the twist of ME be that the reapers already won, everything we did was flashbacks of shepards, replaying his valiant defense but inevitable defeat.  These flashbacks were caused by the reaper making process.

The game ends as the reapers are seen harvesting earth. With the new shepreaper leading the operation.

I asked for help coming up with reasons why the reapers should win for a joke outtakes vid.  What part of what you said was helpful or even relevant.
