I am not sure if the "traditional" vampire is feasible, but a "vampire abomination" definitely can fit.

There you go, they came up for a valid reason for Werewolves. Perhaps a rage demon possesed a bat which in turn, bit a human and spread the vampire curse?
By this logic, a demon can possess anything, a boar, or a sheep, or Mr. Wiggums and bite a human. Does this mean that we'll have Were, -boars, -sheep, -cats walking around?

As i said, Bioware is capable of coming up with some kind of solution for a vampire, that was just a quick explanation by me. I dont care, i just want my freakin vampire.
Vampires and Werewolves are my two favourite kind of lore creatures, i was truly surprised when werewolves were in DAO, i hope DA2 can surprise me with vampires.

There was a cat possessed by a rage demon, according to Anders. Took down some templars. A were-cat?

I'm not sure I buy that story. Just how would that happen exactly?

In all seriousness though, no. Vampires are parasites plain and simple, I really don't want to see one in this game. It just wouldn't match at all with the setting.

I suppose the same way they possess corpses? Can't tell the difference between different bodies to inhabit. According to this wiki page anyway.
We did encounter what appeared to be a cat possessed by a desire demon, of course.

Even if it is a blood mage, it could be part blood mage, part demon, part abomination, part curse... Whatever, as long as there is a vampire.
Come on People, think of the possibilities! You could go to the creepy old village, everyone is acting weird, all atmospheric. You go to the old mansion/whatever Bioware comes up with, you confront the Vampire, and with his Powerful mind control ability, you go in a trance and have a nightmare, meanwhile you are being transported to a dungeon or cellar, you wake up naked, "whats going on"....., you have hallucinations etc, the possibilities are endless!
I want a vampire section.

They have fellows like Cullen and Alistair running around in that tower. Think about it. They REALLY ARE that incompetent.tool_bot wrote...

Yes but we know what ever his name was, kept a lot of magical objects around and that the Veil was weak there. How exactly would a cat get possessed in the Tower of Mages surrounded by Templars.

Ever played Resident Evil 4? Haven in DAO reminds me so much of the villlage in the RE4. I want that same atmospheric feel in for the enthralled village in DA2.
It was awhile back but it was very similar to this one. Frightenly so.KLUME777 wrote...

And i think vampires would fit very neatly into this game. The Werwolves fit perfectly, in fact DAO had a lot of fantasy lore in it. They didnt have vampires because they couldnt fit it all in one game, they can leave that for the sequal. And of coarse, Bioware can put its own spin on it, of coarse. The Werewolfes in DAO are very distinct to DAO, so can vampires.

Again, that's a blood mage.
