I've started a new playthrough of me1 on insanity a while back, and i'm in serious need of help on therum. I'm at the very end with the battlemaster and the the get troopers, and my class is a vanguard, with my current companions being tali, and garrus. No matter what i do, the bm alway gets me, as even if i take him down, he simply regenerates. Any thoughts?
Need help on insanity.

You have it bad. Without some midlevel biotics when I went for Liara´s achivement on insanity I only beat him because he glitched into a corner.
The krogan at the beginning of the combat will go left and usually stays behind one of the structures until you kill the last geth, then he will attack. Try to keep away from him, and avoid overheating his weapons, so he doesn´t charge. If he charges, Lift or the upgraded Throw will stop him, but I think he resists basic Throw, at least Kaidan´s.

Thanks, he does seem to always go left. Never thought overheating his weapons made him charge.

He was playing as a vanguard too, which should be doubly helpful.
Basically keep away from him by ducking behind the pillars. Pick him off from range.

What weapon ammo do you have available?? IF you have some poison ammo and or maybe some fire ammo, then have your companions equip them, because they slow prevent regeneration. Does Tali have AI hacking yet?? IF she does then hack a geth for extra damage/meat shield. Overheat the geth weapons, and does Tali have Dampening, which will stun enemies as well. Overload(shield hit) will also increase the damage taken of all enemies effected by up to 30% so use it to increase your damage output.
Don't forget to run and use medigel as needed.

Well, you have Throw and Warp, use it.

I just tried again a few hours ago afterwatching that video, changed some upgrades, got radioactive bullets for my pistol, got on my first attempt. Thanks for all the help!
