If The Maker exists in the DA verse then I suspect that it does not have a form.

That or he looks like Morgan Freeman.

If Morgan Freeman voices the Maker, then it would be awesome, without a doubt.

If that's true then I call dibs.  (I'm joking DC, no offense).

Sorry, I'm not gay, just an atheist. And I won't lower myself to your level by insulting you SirShrek, I'll just report you.

This isn't DnD where there's definitely Gods, this is different. Even the Urn of Sacred Ashes isn't a miracle, as Oghren says, it's just the lyrium. I strengthened my opinion my opinion against the Chantry after reading The Stolen Throne. They're just like Christianity

The dude's aura is just fatherly and trustworthy overall. Doesn't help that he does the voice work for those damn credit card commercials.

So people of Thedas have no problem worhsipping a divinity that wanted to steal another man's wife.
So I guess they'll have no problem if my mage tries to do the same (if only he wasn't in love with Morrigan) :P

There is no such thing as an atheist zealot.

It's not that I don't like it, quite the contrary, just that somehow I've only managed to watch the movie.

Well it is what god looks like in South Park, so I thought the Maker could look like that aswell.

He'd have the beard of all beards, the broodmother of all facial hair. Only less gross. :wizard:

I'd rather never find out. The whole Andraste-religion being a large faith and allowing people multiple viewpoints on it adds a sense of realism instead of having everything confirm the Maker as being true.

Knowing that the Maker exists does not mean folks will worship him...humanity has turned its back on him once already

The Chantry says he turned his back on his creations.

By 'turned its back" I mean humanity turned to the worship of old gods first

I hope we'll never see the Maker in person because it's impossible to design an appearance which would impress everyone both in Thedas and in real world without an exception. The only way to keep disappointment at zero level is to avoid publicizing the Maker. No doubt there'll always be someone who would show up and go like, "So is it this punk who created me? Oh damn." The Maker would simply lose his "inspirational deity" status and become controversial.

And of course Hawke would have to step up and slay the Maker. Just because.

The Maker is not an old god...he actually created Thedas and the fade. However he may or may not be the 'Supreme Being' There may be other higher entities

Or he might just be something the Chantry made up.

Isn't that David Gaider ?

And BTW, Thedas is just a continent like Europe, there's other continents that have other people that are convinced their religion is the right one.
