Simple question...

is it going to be included?

I bought the game used, and am considering getting the full set in one package. (No DLC yet, so it's still a good deal for me.)

Just want to know if I can get the fancy armor for ME2 while I'm at it,

I have been wondering about this too. Hope so, since I bought it used too.

I'm not sure why they would include everything but the armor. It's possible, I suppose, but it would be a head-scratcher if it wasn't included.

I would have assumed it was including the major DLC but not the bonus items you could get at various points along the way, including pre-ordering. That's just my thoughts, though, and not necessarily how it will work.

Chris Priestly and Fernando Melo answered that question:

To answer a few questions:
Yes, the Ultimate Edition comes with the Dragon Age Blood Dragon armor and a code for the Mass Effet 2 Blood Dragon Armor.
Ultimate Edition comes with Patch 1.04
Ultimate Edition is on sale here in North America on October 26.
More answers as we get them.

You can install Ult Ed & DLC over top of existing DAO/DAO-A & DLCs.  Previous saves etc will be fine.
PC: 2 dvd
360: 2 dvd
PS3: 1 bluray
It will NOT include the retailer pre-order promo items, or the collector's edition items.

Ok, so UE will install over my existing Digital Deluxe version and has one new Activation Code that will install all DLC and Awakening addon, regardless if any content were previously installed and also that my existing savegames should work after the upgrade and I won't lose any of the Achievements I've already earned... got it. Image IPB

Now about the pre-order & Collector's Edition items I paid for and my characters have either equipped, or in backpack, or in storage at Soldier's Peak... I can assume that these items will still exist in my inventories after I install UE, yes? Image IPB

YEP.
I got ultimate edition, and yes, it came with blood dragon armor (Only the body shows up free in your inventory, the helmet, greaves, and gauntlets can be purchased from Bodahn).
I do have ME2, and it did download for it, but I haven't tested it yet lol

And I just saw that you got it used. I imagine this game won't like being "used", since more than one person cannot use the same code... If it was used, that is. You're probably gonna have to go through a lot of bs technical support. I was barely able to get my stuff working and it was brand new.

Now is the Blood Dragon Armor transferable to DA2, ME2 and so on to ME3, or does it just stay with DA:O

If you buy DAO:UE new, there should be a code for ME2 (I think it's 2). Beyond that, I'm not sure DA2 and such have the armor. You only get a file for DAO and a code for that ME game. Nothing else. Check the wiki?

I recently purchased a new copy of DAO:UE but it didn't come with the code. I bought mine from amazon if that matters

I ended up getting it replaced by amazon because ea customer support couldn't help, it didn't have a code either:unsure: might just be with amazon i think because my friend bought a copy for the ps3 last week and it had the code, i think he got it from gamestop

I bought mine off of eBay but it was wrapped and never used. It still didn't come with a code form what I could see. Just the game disc and the DLC disc. The armor got transferred to Dragon Age 2 but not Mass Effect 2.

Same thing for me, I registered my ultimate edition as well, and I still don't have the option to download the blood dragon armor for ME 2  from the cerberus network. The blood dragon armor for DAO is included on the dlc disk, but not the ME2 blood dragon armor. Anyone got any ideas?

So people who buy it at actual retailers are getting the code but people who buy it online aren't? That's what it seems like the problem is. But what I don't understand is how that problem can even occur...

No I bought my copy from Walmart, and didn't receive a code. I tried contacting EA support, but have yet to receive a response.

I can't seem to find a code for it anywhere either in my DA:UE that I picked up at Gamestop, did they just stop including codes after a certain point?

I know this is late, but here's how I got it in Mass Effect 2: I purchased Dragon Age Origins standard edition from Impulse in june 2010, it came with the blood dragon armor and Stone Prisoner add-on, when I came here as instructed for some DLC i bought for Mass Effect 3, I looked on my entitlements, and saw that Mass Effect 2 had the blood dragon armor add-on unlocked, so I think it does it automatically you just have to register the DLC codes on the bioware social site, and hope for the best, if not contact EA's support, and let them know you never got the code for Dragon Age Origins/Mass Effect 2's blood dragon armor DLC, and hope for the best. I helped my GF get the black emporium for Dragon Age 2 through them, they didn't even ask for a proof of purchase just gave me the key for it, you just have to be nice to them about it

As for everyone's questions about the blood dragon armor transferring to mass effect 3, you don't even have to worry about that, just go to a shop in the Citadel, or go to the Normandy's shops and look through, it has the collector armor, blood dragon armor, cerberus armor, etc. So even if you don't have the blood dragon armor unlocked for 2 it'll be there in 3, hope this long explanation helps
