Hey folks I just finished the Lothering village..... One thing I am learning is if you want money from a quest you better be prepared to be a mean old mieser cuz if you don't choose the answer that PAYS  you lose ........ All the time I am wondering if I will get some sweet deal later if I help folks for free................  I remember in BG, IWD and NWNs lots of times when you helped folks out without taking a reward the game rewarded you with more experience and the NPC sometimes would give you a powerful item.....

Aye that miffed me too, you have to ask for it to get it.

It makes the high road more poignant doesn't it?
Though many quest later will give you reward even when you don't ask for one.  But nearly always you can refuse it.
