I built a small module, and when I try to run it I get the message "campaign.cif is missing"
Anyone know what I did wrong?

Here is what is in my standalone module:
3 enemy NPCs (two of them are the same creature)
One NPC that has a dialogue
One placeable corpse
One area

Have you exported your module (full export)?

No I haven't tried that. I fixed the campaign.cif by putting the module script back to module_core. But now the NPCs don't show up. I'll try a full export now. Thanks for the tip.

Export is indeed the answer.

A full export does a lot of unnecessary core resource processing, so you might prefer to select all your custom resources in the ALL view of the palette, then Export Without Dependent Resources.

You might also like to try

Tools > Options > General > Auto-Export on Save > Export Without Dependent Resources

to ensure that resources are exported whenever they're saved in future.
