Alright So computer specs first

Corei3 3.6GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5750
8 gigs of ram
Win 7 64 bit

think that's the more important parts.


Now basically after deciding to go to the mage tower to save the child and rid him of the demom about halfway into the mage's tower my game began to randomly crash and with great frequency i experienced about 5 crashes in a 10 minute period -.- it was most frustrating indeed. it finally calmed down a bit but the random crashes continued to peresist through return to ostagar and wardens keep and now on my to Haven. Infact the random crashes had occured so frequently that i haven't even been able to travel the road to haven -.-.

I do have 3 mods installed i disabled them to see if that might help unfortunately no such luck. as i was starting a new character the game decided to randomly crash some more despite the mods being disabled.

i have patch 1.4 and i do not have awakenings installed. i was under the impression that the 1.4 patch was supposed to fix the frequent crashes caused by 1.3 -.- not intensify them and cause them to be more frequent.

If anyone can help me out here it  would be great.
