Hey All,

Version 1.37 of Journeys is live. Before I get to the change list, I would like to address three issues. The first is issues with earning achievements and unlock items. If you have experienced problems with this, please email us at dajourneys@gmail.com with the account you will be using Dragon Age: Origins to play. We are working on a fix for all of those users who have reported issues with the achievements/unlocks during the beta period and plan on getting this fix in before the launch of Dragon Age: Origins.

The second issue is the removal of the surveys. Many users have experienced problems with earning the unlock Amulet of the War Mage by taking the three surveys. We have replaced the unlock conditions for Amulet of the War Mage, which is now earned by completing the game on the hard difficulty setting. Again, if you previously experienced problems with taking the surveys that prevented you from unlocking Amulet of the War Mage, email us at dajourneys@gmail.com with the account you will be using Dragon Age: Origins to play.

The third issues is how to recieve your items in Dragon Age: Origins. This is simple. By signing into Dragon Age: Origins with the account you used while unlocking the three bonus items in Dragon Age Journeys they will automatically be added to your inventory. This works on all three platforms: PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Here is the change list for v1.37:

- Survey functionality removed and replaced with the new unlock (Note: if you already had the unlock completed, you will not lose it)
- Resume button now only appears after you've logged in and loads the most recent saved game
- Fixed issues when playing anonymously for a while, then logging in later
- Fixed some issues with Bard's Yarn and Mighty Magic achievements
- Fixed save size issue when saving near end of game with lots of inventory
- Fixed some issues with web tabs not updating properly
- Fixed issues when logging in from multiple machines at once
- Improved stability when logging in with EA accounts created via other games
- Lighweight armor redues fatigue
- Fixed bug related to switching your main weapon to your offhand weapon
- Fixed line of sight bug that allowed enemies to shoot through obsticals
- Updated unlock progress text on achievement screen
- Fixed various combat freeze ups
- Fixed various effect duration issues
- Fixed stamina/mana save but
- Fixed default weapon selling exploit
- Fixed issues with flaming weapon effects.
- Correctly saving the "show blood" option
- Fixed exploits with combat hotkey spamming
- Removed Shield talents from Rogue, Bard character
- Typo fixes
- Minor UI fixes

Thanks,
DAJ Team

I think they just removed the survey because it became painfully clear that people are waiting for Origins, not for more journeys chapters.

a Minsc should make an appearence in DA somewhere, a mention in a book, or even a cameo, how great would that be...hmm, perhaps my next playthrough...

I would like to see more chapters though, a nice little distraction you know?

Sheesh, is it just me or did someone dig up a grave?

Though it was amusing seeing all the excitement about how rogues would be able to unlock the 2H school with a point spent in Combat Training.

Mis-information.  Mis-infor-may-ay-shun!  It's making their day!

EDIT: 2H rogues and Minsc+Boo are very good things to have, of course.  The game is lesser for the lack of either.

well give it time, the world of Thedas will be fleshed out (hopefully) and continue to grow and evolve (much like Tamriel in the Elder Scrolls series) that is, if the series continues to that length. The world of D&D is just not a fair comparison, it has been around since the 70's, so of course if will have a much more in depth world.

Yeah i see your point then they should have contracted w D&D & made it a D&D world .....I miss the D&D spells, the monsters ...
you cant tell me adding a demi-lich or mindflayer to DA would not have been sweet !

Atari has the D&D license, including the Forgotten Realms setting (which I believe is what you mean when you say "D&D world").  Or they had it.  They've been a bunch of naughty little boys apparently, and as of December 2009 Hasbro wasn't too happy about it.

Bioware has provided a good setting to flesh out in the subsequent 16 or so Dragon Age games we've been promised.

Hopefully they're not afraid to do a few rules updates.  I think they should be daring and move to a classless, levelless, system where even the mightiest of Grey Wardens can be felled by a single lucky shot to the neck by the lowliest Genlock archer.

16 subsequent games ??  Did they really promise something crazy like that ?

I agree about the single lucky shot as well ...problem is you may never have anyone who is a 'mighty grey warden'  they would get all picked off b4 then =]

Yes Nukenin, I know that Forgotton Realms is a setting in the D&D world, my sincere apologies for not making that clear. How about they make an Al-Qadim ro Ravenloft game, maybe Dark Sun or Planescape. Dragonlance could work or perhaps Grayhawk, or Birthright?

I know that BG was set in the FG world, just didnt think I had to make it obvious. Who owns all those settings?
