I have failed to find the place to post the bug reports, so I hope it is OK to post it here?
I have just realised that there is a NWN2 issue with tiles. The tile has its separate geometry for the fading roofs and this geometry box will be visible as a green line when you select a tile. The roof geometry seems like a separate box sitting on top of a tile.
The issue I will mention is best visible with the metatiles. Try to place a metatile but rotate it before you place it. Now, if you select that metatile you will see that the roof geometry has not been rotated. This causes the roof to fade in its own position which does not work with the tile once it has been rotated. It is not so obvious for the 1x1 tiles that have square roofs, so when you rotate them their roof geometry stays in the same tile (but if there are any features on the roof you will see that their geometry box has not been rotated with the tile).
Also, the fading geometry does not follow the tile position when you change the size of the area which it is in.
Bug Report - Fading geometry broken with the tileset rotation and area resize

That's interesting to note. Can anyone else independantly verify or test this to ensure it's not a corruption issue? This would be one more thing to deal with in regard to the metatiles on interior sets.
Also, Alaster Wolf, have you tested this with all the tile sets or is there a specific set only that you encountered this?
Lastly, yes, it's okay to post this here.

OK, I got back to the toolset to check again about the issue. I have emptied my override, started a new module without any haks involved and added an interior 8x8 area. I have placed a standard castle meta tile and then one more but rotated. That one had the issue I have reported. I have then resized the area and the tiles geometry did not follow. However, the geometry was back once I have re-opened the area, but the rotated meta tile still had the geometry bug. I would really love that someone else confirms this so that I can be sure as well that my toolset is not corrupted. To illustrate what is going on, please check the pictures I have posted here:

Just to add that this happens with all the tilesets. The ones included with the game and also the custom tilesets that I had a chance to test (RWS Deep Sewers, for instance). So, it seems to be the toolset related rather than the tileset related.

I could not find again any obvious example with a regular 1x1 tile, just with the meta tiles. But, I think that I've seen some before. Anyway, I have confirmed this issue with some 1x1 tiles of a custom tileset, so my guess is that this is a general issue with the geometry.

confirmed
You can use the castle great hall metatile to test this. I tried a cave metatile that was 2x2 and it didn't look like this. I bet it happens with the square metatiles as well, but since it's square it's not visible in the green selection lines. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the green selection lines preserve the original orientation.

This bug has been around for a while. the odd part is sometimes it happens to me and sometmes it doesn't, while others see it all the time.
