Indeed. Bioware, the next game you should allow us to get Duncan's beard. Not that mods won't make it possible now, but still. Actually, new idea. Next game we play as Duncan's beard. Yes. That would be a bestseller.

Like if we finish one play-through, we unlock new facials or whatever. The beards we have to pick from now is either a Goatee, or Santa Claus ripoffs. Now Duncan's Beard is so amazing that Dwarves are swearing by it: "By Duncan's Beard, I never did it!"

Notice that all the posters have a picture of Duncan, lol I just thought it was ironic, do I hear a future Duncan fan club?

Duncan's beard, attitude and role in this game reminds me too much of a Dragon Age version of Obi Wan, leaving out the ghost and visions, lol.

Nothing wrong with that, Obi-Wann archetypes are awesome!
Also most of the origin stories give you a real good reason to respect him or at the very least be thankful to him.

Oh no, what have I done?! At this rate Duncan's beard will soon be more powerful than the blight itself, what have I done! *Run aways screaming*

So, now that we have all this power, how do we get the beard?
#19
Posté 12 novembre 2009 - 12:25
Simple. First we capture that Relics guy because his beard is also somewhat impressive, then we charge Bioware headquarters and demand they make us a game about his beard.

Duncan's Beard and the Song of Trimming. It could be followed by, Duncan's Beard and the Flame of Singeing.

But really, we need to find out how we can mod it in. I just found that I'm reluctant to start a new play-through without his beard on me! Yes, I'm aware how that sounds!

No, it doesn't sound wrong. That's the most right sentence ever. Duncan's beard is THE MOST.

I think his hair is cooler and would much rather be able to pick it.
