So, I just got Baldur's Gate 4-in-1. Very good so far. But when companions die, how do they come back to life/do they come back to life? Whenever anyone dies I just reload, so it'll be nice to know whether or not they come back to life.

If their portrait become greyish you can jsut go to any temple and use their services to rez them. If they die and their portrait dissapear then i am sorry but they are gone for good(unless you reload of course lol) Dunno if its possible to attain the lvl for it in bg1 but in bg2 your own priest/druid can cast ressurection spell too.

Also, how do I download patches for the game? When I install the expansion for the first one, it says I can only use it in USA/Canada? Which patch do I need to fix this and how do I get it to work?

You'll need to download the Englisk (UK) version of the patch. Or you can just buy it at http://www.gog.com for about 10 US dollars, I think? (or maybe it is 10 Euros?). The games available from gog is safe, clean, fun and already come patched. And it is legal...

You can get it here though http://www.bioware.c...upport/patches/ And the english patch is both for the UK and North America Version.

That one is for the expansion for BG2 isn't it? Or will that patch the first one and it's expansion too? And does that patch fix the issue that I can't play the expansion because it says I'm using the USA version? Also when it's downloaded, what do I need to do to get it to work in the game, like do I need to put the patch file anywhere?

Hoh goody goody i didnt read your post properly. So you cant install totsc or you just cant play? Considering this is a 4in1 that would be surprising. Can you explain in further details your problem?
Also its alright even if your a console gamer, even as a avid pcgamer i always have trouble with patches for most of my games lol.

The problem with the USA/Canada version was discussed extensively in the old forums. It could be worth taking a look there if you have problems in resolving the issue.
