That nose is sadly really hard to work with in terms of bridge depth, if you bring it out too far it starts to look broken
or just off.

Little bit, but it still feels far off. Have you tried a different nose present?

Well, I'm probably not the best at creating characters that others find appealing, but I do try to vary my characters' appearances.

For some reason, the CC was acting up on me, changing appearances and tattoos. It was frustrating going back to correct them all before taking a screenshot. And many times when I pasted the screenshot into paint... there was no hair O.o and the interface wouldn't copy. Took several tries per character to get one.

Also, please forgive lack of facial expression and solid black eyes >..<

Anyway, onto my... slideshow thingy?

First up is the first male I made, Shuri, a Human Mage. Couldn't get the exact look that I wanted, but he's meant to be a gentle-ish type, so when I play him through (whenever that may be), he'll be focusing on healing skills.


Next is my next male, a City Elf Mage named Dorian. Inspiration for him came from one of the lyrics from Kamelot's 'March of Mephisto' - "Your fragile heart feeds my contempt." Hence, he's a Necromancer type Though he can be more accurately viewed on my character page... stupid bad timing He's meant to look gaunt and half-decayed >.>


This is Cortano, my attempt a strong-yet-beautiful male elf. Dalish Elf Rogue, to specialize in ranged weapons and stealth (Ranger). He's meant to look fragile, yet competent, and has a surprisingly deep voice XP


This handsome fella is Oroth, a cocky but able Dwarf Commoner Warrior > Meant to look like a seasoned-but-not-old classic dwarven warrior (that isn't Gimli XP)


Last but not least is a Human Warrior, Adrion Cousland (still learning the names or I'd include the surnames on the others ^.^; I'm slow -.-; ) Meant to look like an arrogant but fun loving young noble who doesn't really care for the responsibilities he carries. Again, check my character page for his portrait photo, which displays his personality much more clearly.



I'm really not very confident in sharing my stuff like this, but I always take 'constructive criticism' rather well, so feel free to comment/flame as much as you like ^.^;

EDIT: Ok, I don't know what I'm doing wrong here... Changed my post several times and the pics still won't show! If you right click on them and click 'open image in new tab', you can see the image, but not on this thread... >.<; No idea what I'm doing wrong here...

You have to use [ img ] and [ /img ] before and after the picture location. There should be no space I think after and before each of [ and ].

The tattoo issues are a common bug with the character creator, along with a few other issues, so it's something somewhat common we've all had to put up with.

As for screenshots, if you're just using Print Screen, sometimes there are weird issues like that. I would suggest using the free version of Fraps, could make you life much easier.

The problem is that you're trying to use image tags on links to a web page, not an individual image. Either use url tags to link to the whole album (like [ url ] whole address here [  / url ] or [ url = address here ] link name [  / url ] but without spaces), or use the [img] tags to link to images themselves. You can find out the link to an image by right-clicking it and selecting, "View image"; it'll show the image on its own, and you can copy the address found there. Alternatively, if you can't "View image" (some browsers don't allow this), you can right-click and go to "Image Properties" (or something similar) and find the link to the image in the window that pops up.

I have so much image-related software on my system that I never use, I don't need more XP I'll stick with ctrl+c+prnt-scrn ^.^;

When I tried to get the image by itself to get the actual image link, it just gave me a blank white page with nothing on it, so that's why I didn't attempt that. But, I suppose I might as well try it =/ Thanks for the help! 

EDIT: Yay for photobucket. Couldn't get anything to work for the BW site's photo album, so I caved in and made a photobucket. Images are on my post now XD

I rushed the 6 origins concept art in an evening, I plan on redoing some of them, but will wait to get the game, hoping it will fix some CC bugs. BTW, agreed for the nose, and the mouth annoys me, but it can't be changed after you decide to put a beard on your character...
