Wow this is absolutley stupid once you beat the game

I beat the game and now all I can do is go between 3 places
Honnleath : THE GHOST TOWN (Facepalm)
Soldiers Peak : Where there is nothing to do but walk in circles.......
Party camp : Where there is again , nothing to do
This is obsurd!
They need to take a hint from The Elder Scrolls and let you still roam freely and level up and do anything after beating the game
If theres a Dragon Age : Origins sequel then it better not pull this crap again
Also , as far as any FUTURE DLC is concerned if its anything like The Stone Warden and/or Wardens Keep then it will not at all be worth anything but maybe like $1 if this is the case
Because what the hell would be the point of another DLC thing where you unlock another ally or another fort... IF YOU HAVE NO REASON TO EVEN HAVE THEM!
I hope the future DAO DLC is something like Oblivions Shivering Isles , so long and full of new stuff that its worth while
I would hate it if the new DLC is simply another 5 minute boom in and out quicky bs thing that is pointless if you've beaten the game

I didn't even get to lvl 20 for the acheivement , and I don't even see how thats possible either because theres no such thing as going XP on purpose in this game , especially after you beat it
Like lvl 19.75 (sigh) so close
There is no way to go XP after beating the game right? No more random attacks when traveling on the map?

There were still side quests in this game too that I didn't finish and ugh
You know the thing right before the credits blabs on about how this place got this change that place got restored blah blah blah but then why not let us all go to those newly changed areas?

Now I just accidently got some great new sword called Starfang at the wardens keep , but I have nothing to use it on oh boy! D:
I got that sword at level 8-10, and used it for the rest of the game. 'sup.

You will have use for it once the next great Blight appears. Patience young padawan.
Hmmm... a new DLC story where they start a new blight and restore the entire map for you and basically make an entire new games worth of stuff to do would be nice

They should at least have post game Chantry board type missions.

I see no need for an endgame roamfest. Never liked it. If you play thoroughly enough, there's nothing to do and it feels very anticlimactic.

This.
However, to c-c-c-combo break "this", let me expand. I agree with the anticlimactic bit in every way. However, I think a longer playable epilogue (playable epilogue meaning that one party scene) would be a good addition, because this game's story is brilliant and I found the ending text, while well-written, leaving me with a bit of an empty feeling.

Doing final missions for guilds or the main storyline didn't feel accomplished?
Killing every random person in a town for fun didn't feel accomplished?!
Breaking into peoples houses and robbing them blind didn't feel accomplished?!?!?!?!?!?

And, y'know, maybe some Sten DLC. But...only 'cause Sten's awesome.

Eh, I thought Oblivion's side quests and extra content were too disjointed. There's no real sense of achievement anywhere. Games like this make you feel like you actually accomplished something and are worthy of honor. Oblivion never did that for me.
So the fact that once you beat the game the entire continent of Cyrodil is at peace and no one does anything makes more sense to you, and going into a whole new realm of Oblivion in the expansion to be a Deadric Prince's champion and quest in his realm isn't fullfilling to you either.
You are truly lol.
That kind of ending is even less sensible in a world where the Darkspawn don't ever go away blight or no blight.

That last boss fight was kinda stupid , tried twice on normal and got killed halfway
Tried on easy and then decided to just spam those giant cannon firing things they had there
To me , that wasn't a gratifying boss battle it was kinda stupid actually
I guess I could try to put the game on normal/hard/nightmare PERMANANTLEY and try to still beat the game but its ridiculous
Trying to play DAO the "right" way (By constantly pausing it and controlling every single character) is obsurd
Thats like playing rock band and trying to play all 4 instruments all at once by yourself

It's mundane. I do something that should be great, then all of a sudden I feel like I'm out grocery shopping or something equally dull. You need to end these things on a high note, not return to the mundane.

He told me I have more important things to focus on now or something like... really?
When they are stuck as prisoners in their camp forever what else IS there to do besides for them to go f*** in a tent for the rest of their lives lol

I beat all the guilds, beat the main quest, got some high-end gear, and didn't feel a single shred of accomplishment. Maybe I did for 3 seconds, but then it was back to normal, wandering around this big world with nothing special going on.

I can partfully agree that Oblivion's endgame has too much freedom, but you have to agree that we could use more leverage than 'they lived happily ever after' /qeue credits.
I think the DLC of Fallout 3 is a much better example of extra bang for the buck.

I never played the Fallout DLC's.
I like it when a game actually ends. It gives me a feeling of closure. Oblivion jsut goes on and on forever. You can do absolutely everything in the game, and you still end up free to roam, thinking there should be something to do but there just isn't. It's mundane, as I said. That's my take anyways.

It's "meant" to be pause-and-played. It's a Bioware game. Yes, you can possibly do it without that, but every Bioware game since... forever (not counting Jade Empire, and even ME has a bit of wiggle room) has featured pause-and-play-ability-ness.
