Title says it all. What moment do you consider to be your greatest in Mass Effect?

For me, I'd say approaching Vigil, the mysterious tone being played. And finally learning about the protheans tragic genocide, aswell as the great Citadel-twist that made me go "No Way!"

Bar none, summoning the Arcturus fleet to the Citadel and saving the Destiny Ascension.  With Joker in the lead.

Getting it on with an alien.

...or watching the Collector Base blow up with the Normandy escaping to dramatic music. That too.

for me its a toss up between your conversation with nazara or as iakus said the last second rescue by the arcturus fleet both for different reasons sovereign's conversation for the great atmospheric music and amazing revelations and the fleet being a spectacular "adrenaline rush fist pumping" moment.

Slightly off topic but does anyone hope they bring back ME1's atmospheric music back for the finale? cause as sweeping and spectacular as ME2's score was i thought it lacked the great background music the first game had that really reinforced the sense of mystery, unknown, etc.

So many items to list..........

I mean come on, the Mass Effect series has-
1. Alien sex
2. Lots of big explosions that would make Michael Bay blush
3. Fantastic storyline and memorable characters
4. Epic music
and on and on and on.....

But if I HAD to list one epic, memorable moment that I personally experienced.... I would have to say this-

(Jump to the 3 minute mark)

But I must admit, the end run in ME2 is just as epic, but since I still get chills to this day of the ending of the first game, I will say that is my favorite.

It's difficult to pick just a single moment. I think the one scene that impressed itself upon me the most would be the conversation with Sovereign on Virmire, and then the subsequent loss of a team member. It strikes me as one of Shepard's most difficult moments as a leader, and one which as a viewer/player didn't strike me as being unfairly and unrealistically orchestrated as emotional torque, even though it probably could be labeled as such by some people. It was a difficult situation to which there was no ideal solution, and a decision had to be made which will stay with Shepard forever.

The part when I told Conrad Verner "I haven't been shot in the head nearly enough times for that to sound like a good idea."

Summoning the fifth fleet to save the Ascension.

Must have loaded a save just before and replayed that scene 20 times.

If only the video was done with the game engine set to whatever graphics level you were running. It was so low quality it hurt, but was so epic it was worth it.

I have to say ONE of my most favorite moments: Mordin singing Gilbert and Sullivan....holy crap I don't think I've laughed that hard in a looooong time, that was completely and utterly unexpected. I admit...my jaw dropped for a good 3 seconds and then the laughing commenced. Good times right there. Crazy salarians.

"Suit up. We're going outside!" To see the glass around the elevator shatter from a shot right after Shepard says that, and the jump out was really awesome. My pulse elevated from that line alone. That was when I realized, yeah, Shepard is the John McClane of Mass Effect, doing whatever needs to be done to save the day.

for me it's Sovereign coming out of the relay and attacking the citadel, nothing was more epic than watching Sovereign and his geth fleet bombard the citadel ships to oblivion with the music playing.

The Human Reaper. It's as if the illogic, retconning and randomness of the universe came together into a completely unexpected chaotic mess of laughter and insanity. It made perfect illogical sense.
