So, my character is wearing the archon robes, like so: http://social.biowar...6763/146763.jpg

I want to make the dark blueish parts of those robes into a shade of imperial purple. Now, I know how to change the material of an item in my savegame--but the only purple items I know of are drakeskin light armors, and the way that the material works is that the copper parts of the robes turn purple whereas the dark blue parts turn metallic grey.

I have no idea how to work the material editor. What would be the easiest way for me to turn the dark blue parts into purple?

Depends on whether you want to create a new robe or modify the existing one, but in either case you have to extract the dds texture file and modify that.

I would want to modify the existing robes. Where are the texture files located?
