The forums practically require me to re-log page per page. I use firefox as my browser. Is there some reason I have to keep re-logging in constantly?

I appreciate anyone's help

Check your Tools - Options - Privacy settings.

Sounds like your browser information is getting cleared. I use Firefox as well and do not have this issue.

Me neither. Isn't it a "remember me" option somewhere?

I do the remember me option to no avail. I tried IE it does the same. The only thing at this point I can think of is that it is my Satellite internet. I just wanted to rule out the forums as being the problem.

Arrgh! Well that's frusturating. Thanks for the quick replies!

My profile was doing that yesterday. Not sure why. After an hour, it was "fine" again (which, by forum standards isnt passable, but do we have a choice). I just passed it off as bioware tweaking.. though tweaking is supposed to make things better, no?

Firefox (Mac). No problem, on an everyday basis.

It's a security setting in the browser and it doesn't matter which browser you are using. Also, once I had to remove a pile of cookies that the "Remember me" function caused. There are other sites (like the NWN Wiki) that can cause the same problem. But in all cases, it's the recall of a cookie that is at issue. As avado alluded, sometimes maintenance to a particular server can cause a temporary security burp. In those cases you may have to clear the cookies to make the transition smoother, but I doubt it really necessary.

For the record, I use Opera... but occasionally other browsers that offer certain features (like editing web pages, for example).
