The playtrought  that will be the base for the first ME3's one:

Name: John Shepard

class: Soldier

Background: Earthborn/Sole Survivor

Allignement: full Paragon

Shepard had lost many friends on Akuze, he really wished to have something to blame for this. But he was strong enough to move on from that tragedy, secretly promising to himself to don't let other people die under his command unless is it truly unavoidable.

ME1

Joker - initially pissed of his idiocies, he gained the respect of Shep when he revelaed to him about his syndrome, and then they became good friends.

Kaidan - respect for his abilities and his troubled past, but not truly a friend of him. One more fallen hero to honour for Shepard.

Ashley - initially Shep was suspicious about her skills 'cause she let her whole team die on Eden Prime. But she proved herself. Still the Commander dislike her continue suspiciosy against the non-humans, even after he knew of her personal story, but they're friends.

Garrus - a good friend, but Shep is worried about his continue desire of act out of rules.

Tali - doubtful at the beginning 'cause Shep knew almost nothing of quarians, but also impressed by her skills. Without her the mission didn't even begin. Probably Shep's best friend.

Wrex - a brute, initially considered a destabilizing element for the team. But then Shep discovered more about him and his race, starting to respect or even admire his strenght. He survives Virmire.

Liara - Love Interest, Shepard just felt that she wasn't involved with Saren and Benezia, and he was somehow fascinated by her.

Rachni, colonists, Shiala - saved, every one needs a second chance.

Council Saved, Anderson as Human Coucilor. Making sure that my old Captain was able to punch Udina in da face :P

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ME2

Cerberus: totally distrust, but Shepard is at least understand that an alliance with TIM is a necessary sacrifice to stop Collectors and find out what Reapers are doing.

Joker and Chackwas - just amazed to see again some friendy faces.

Miranda and Jacob - he doesn't trust them, but at least they have his respect. They become fully trustable after suicide mission.

Mordin - initially diffident, due his work on New Genophage, but Shepard remained impressed by him at last.

Jack and Zaeed - two of the most instable elements of the team. Shepard is worried about what can happen if they rampage against him for personal reasons.

Samara - a brave warrior with an unflexive moral code. A thing than Shepard can truly appreciate, even if he's far from believing that everything is black or withe like she does.

Thane - a good friend. Shepard is really curious abot the drells and respects much his skills.

Grunt - a powerful warrior, probably the most powerful Shep ever met. He hopes to forge Grunt's mind to something closer to Wrex's.

Legion - he don't trusts him, but after known him Shepard found a spark of hope to achieve the peace with geths, so he's treated quite well.

Garrus - the worst worries of Shep about him had became reality, but even if now he's a vigilante Shepard trusts him very much, even just because he still trusts him after he joined Cerberus.

Tali - Love Interest: she was the first friendly "face" that Shepard saw after 2 years of oblivion. He never stopped to think about her after Freedom Progress and when she returned in the team, simply happend the inevitable.

Liara - Shepard saw she moved on, or at least that she wants do so. They remained friends, but Tali is the only one for Shepard now.

Ashley - Shep is very unplease of her total distrust.

Wrex - impressed by his new wish of help the krogans.

Suicide Mission: no losses, Collector's base destroyed. Finally justice for all the past actions of Cerberus, or at least a chance to become again free from its control.

My default role-playing Shep...

Name: Merlin Shepard (I know rite lol)
class: Vanguard
Background: Colonist/Ruthless
Morality: Renegon

A Chaotic neutral kinda guy, he's nice, although a bit eccentric his heart is in the right place. Has a bit of a dark sense of humour though. Dislikes and distrusts all big organisations, Alliance, cerberus pfffttt all the same. Also hates racism. Sometimes gets an attitude problem at times.
He had few friends thanks to his rather desperate tactics on Torfan (that he often regrets) until his mission against Saren brought a whole load of aliens in, and his curiousity got the better of him, and his repeated talks to Garrus ended up with him making a best friend whom which he could relate to. He also made good friends with Tali...maybe even more than friends...

Opinions on Characters

Joker: Loves him, his voice reminds him of an old show he used to watch...Robot Chicken I believe it was called.

Kaidan: Never really talked to him much.

Ash: Shep kept away seeing her as intolerant.

Garrus: Best bros. Definately Shepard's first bromance. Even in his childhood when he spent half the time preparing for a zombie apocylapse (those preparations helped against the Batarians too). It was only on Eden Prime that Shepard would find his hunches correct and that zombies were real.

Wrex: Shepard can't help but laughing at his warrior-like mind but at the same time is intruiged by him. Now that he is a Chieftain Shepard hopes that he will help in the Reaper war.

Tali: A good friend, and later on, lover. At first it was just conversations to learn about the Quarian race, then it became alot more than that...

Liara: Never really talked to her much and found her fairly naive but very useful. Later on in ME2 Shepard helps her rise to power as the Shadow Broker and after that Shepard definately trusts her to help him out when he needs more information to do stuff.

Miranda and Jacob: Shep imagines they are probably up to a plot to control him so he keeps away.

Mordin: He can't help but laugh at Mordin's antics and his way of talking.

Kasumi: Shepard and her have managed to build a good friendship, mainly through the face Tali and Kasumi hang out together alot.

Zaeed: Likes his stories, and considers him officially awesome. Helped him kill Vido, sometimes a hundred must die so that the head of an organisation responsible for thousands of deaths must die. Bit of a long winded moral but still.

Thane: Shepard trusts him and honestly finds his history, and the Drell's fascinating. Shep does think Thane comes across as a bit....creepy at times though.

Grunt: He finds him funny as hell but Shepard still misses Wrex and his intellectuality.

Jack: Keep the f**k away.

Samara: Finds her a bit ritualistic and bland so Shepard doesn't talk much to her.

Legion: Shepard is utterly fascinated by him, however some don't understand his interest in the geth.

The Illusive Man and Cerberus: He's not big on Cerberus and distrusts them heavily but he understands that he has to co-operate for now if he's going to get anywhere. Maybe later he'll leave to join the Shadow Broker then betray poor ol' Cerby? There will be lols.

The Council: Blind, stubborn morons. The only reason I saved them was so I don't look racist.

Anderson: Old friend, Shepard looks up to him.

Udina: F**king hate this guy.

Descisions

Saved the Rachni: Could come in handy.

Saved Wrex: I can't kill someone so awesome!

Saved Ash: Made the mistake of thinking she was a higher rank. Now Shepard regrets the descision.

Saved the Council: Don't want to seem racist sooo...

Saving the Genophage cure: Could come in handy, wanna see what Wrex does with it.

Advicing the Admirality board against war: Seek peace with the Geth so you don't get anhilliated by the Reapers foo!

Brainwashed Heretics: The stronger the geth are, the better our defence against the Reapers. And besides, they're machines. It isn't like it's a welfare problem.

Destroyed Collector Base: I'm not giving it to the shady organisation with a habit of things blowing up in their face. I'm just delaying the inevitable by asploding it.

Thomas Shepherd

class : Solider

Origins: Colonist War Hero

A full on paragon will never sacrifice lives unless he has no choice. Never forgets his beliefs even when pressured to go against them. He can talk his way in and out of anything whether its women or negotiating he always succeeds. However he is no one night stand kind of guy he has genuine relationships and knows when to let go of a relationship and knows when to advance a relationship.

Characters - ME1 (of those alive)

Anderson - respects anderson, thinks of him as a great friend and uses anderson as a role model to decide what is best/worst thing to do and trusts anderson's judgement. He feels as well anderson is a man of action not of words which is why he chose anderson to be the human representative on the council

Ashley - Shepherd thinks of her more than a friend and once loved her but when he died they naturally grew apart and shepherd moved on but Ashley did not.

Joker - finds him a fun person to be around and cares for him as a friend and has genuine respect for his skills.

Liara - he finds her interesting and a great colleague to have around but does not have any feelings for her but only likes her a friend

Garrus - A friend who he feels will always be by his side even when the odds are slim garrus will be their to help and is someone he finds interesting and someone he can get advice from if needed. Also found Garrus to be someone he could teach to be like a mini shepherd.

Tali - A character Shepherd finds fascinating and really valuable in both tech knowledge and the Geth. But also finds her a good friend who will always help him in times of need.

Wrex - A friend in arms who he is glad to be on his side and someone who he has a lot in common and helped to shape Wrex in to someone who is wanting to help his kind not just fight.

Doctor Chakwas - a collegue who he feels is an old friend and is more than happy to be around and have a drink with.

ME2 characters

Illusive Man - He respects what he is trying to achieve but dislikes how he is doing it and feels he should not be only trying to help humanity but the lives of other races. He does not like how he does business but likes the freedom he gets whilst under his command and being able to get the job done unlike the council where he got stopped from doing what needs to be done to save the galaxy.

Miranda - Grateful for her efforts in saving his life, feels sorry for her up bringing and feels like she shouldnt be tried like an asset more of a friend and human being. He feels she is a bit cold at times and thinks with her head not her heart but he feels she is starting to loosen up and he feels like them both are the same. Same sort of up bringing (no parents) and feels much closer to miranda than anyone else he knows and feels like she is someone worth fighting for.

Jacob - a good man, good solider but with the wrong people. He feels Jacob is like him but a man that did not get the same opportunities as shepherd and feels that he is very similar to garrus as well.

Jack - A very damaged woman who has had an upbringing that would have ruined most people and wishes her the best but feels like their is nothing in common between them but would not harm her unless he had absolute no choice (e.g. tried to harm innocent people or the people he loves).

Mordin - Feels like he is a great friend and feels that he made the wrong decision with the genophage and feels he should try to remedy this by curing it. He does find him interesting and does things he would not expect of mordin (sing)

Samara - amazing skill, talent but feels the life she chose is too bound by rules, feels she should be more open to remorse.

Grunt - A great warrior and feels like grunt needs to learn control and show him not just the krogan way but the right way to do things

Kasumi - very skillful but someone who needs to open up more about herself

Zaeed - very good at fighting but dislikes his whole no matter what attitude

Franklin Shepard

class: Vanguard

Alignment: Renegade 70% Paragon 30%

Earthborn/Ruthless- Highly pragmatic. He see laws and regulations as guiding principles rather than a dogma to be taken literally, and believes that doing one's duty is what matters more than anything. He will tend to empathize with the underdog in any situation and is throughly disgusted by slavers and white collar criminals.

Joker- Pisses him off often with his unprofessional manner. Respects him for his talent and also for not using his disease for sympathy. Just wishes he would stop acting like an ass most of the time.

EDI: At first distrustful, but allowed it a chance to prove itself. Earned his trust after having plenty of chances for betrayal and no doing so, and even saving the normandy from destruction and proving a valuable crew member.

Kelly Chambers: He Thinks she is more than a bit eccentric. Keeps it professional despite her flirtiness.

Mordin- Shep has a great deal of repsect for his direct approach and willigness to not let emotions get in the way of what is best for the galaxy. Agrees that the genophage is a necessary evil, for the good of all races. The krogan included.

Jacob- He and jacob are good friends and have alot in common with one another. Although shep's hardass attitude contrasts sharply with Jacob's friendliness.

Garrus- They are like twins in attitude and outlook. encouraged him to take a harder line against monstrous criminals.

Miranda- They hated each other at first, but ended up in the engine room after geting to know each other better.

Legion- Curious about him. Pleased to see some chance of peace between geth and organics. Believes it is expeiencing emotions and that it is greatly confused, or maybe even frightened by the experience.

Thane- Not nearly what he expected in an assassin, repescts his professionalism. Confused by his odd brand of spirituality and fatalism.

Samara- Repsects her commitment to justice but is concerned about her adherence to a code that classifies all things in black and white.

Kasumi- Have a good working relationship, but their personalities clash.

Tali- Respects her a great deal but also sees her as immature. Tried to make her see that revealing the evidence was better for both her and the flotilla in the long run.

Grunt- Likes his blunt and to the point attitude. Is not worried by his blood rages like other crew members are. He feels that they just dont understand the krogan mindset.

Zaeed- They butt heads often. Shep sees him as what he may have become. It is not a pleasant thought for him.

Jack- see her as bat**** crazy, although with good reason to be. Hopes she can calm down someday. helps shep keep in mind the kind of organization cerberus really is.

Wrex- Freind and comrade. Has great respect for his work to unite the krogan.

Ashley- She was a bit abrasive, died a hero.

Kaidan- A good soldier but perhaps a bit too emotional for his own good.

The Council- saved them out of nothing more than a sense of duty. He was a spectre, and saw it as his repsonsibility to save them.

Admiral Anderson- A good working relationship, concerns for his emotional stability and apparent drinking problem. Thinks he is having trouble coping with the council's inaction against the reapers.

Councilor Udina- Sure he's kind of an ass, but what do you expect from a politician?

The Illusive Man- Hides his power hungry meglomania behind the mask of good intentions. Would sooner lie in a pit of rattlesnakes than trust him for one second.

Guardian Shepard (yes yes crappy name)
Level: Normal
class: Adept
History: Colonist/War Hero

Overly gentle and kind is what best describes him. However he doesn't take betrayal lightly, thouhhe does try to save everyone he can because of what happened to him in his childhood. He doesn't give up and protects his crew like family. He has a fear of losing people close to him so he does as much as he can to achieve that goal (and Virmire nearly tore him apart). He has a large interest in alien culture and desires for humanity to work in harmony with the other races.

Joker: He admires Joker although at the same time he gets tired of the constant sarcasm. He and Joker are somewhat close and while he wanted to strangle the man for not trying to evacuate he doesn't blame Joker for his death anymore. (Though he did for a good while).

Kaidan: Respects the fact that while he had a hard life he doesn't take it out on other people and is pretty held together and level headed. The two of them are pretty close friends. Horizon wasn't too bad because Guardian agreed with alot of what Kaidan was saying. Alas, the limited dialogue options.

Garrus: He feels a bit like a teacher to Garrus trying to let him see that laws exist for a reason and that justice in't just abut killing bad guys but rather getting them to reform.

Ashley: He felt a bit awkward because of Ashley's calling of him skipper which was rather informal and didn't know her too well. Her views on aliens were also a bit disheartening to him but he never tried to persuade her otherwise. He regrets that now.

Wrex: He found a close friend in Wrex despite their differences and Guardian's own somewhat short sided views on the Krogan.

Tali: He sees Tali as a little sister and treats her far more gently than he does the rest of the cast. Which is why in ME2 he very awkwardly had to tell her he did not feel the same way.

Liara: In ME1 he saw her as a young and inexperienced girl having a crush on him, he was nice to her and like always wanted to be someone she could depend on. In ME2 however the fact that she handed him over to Cerberus placed a serious strain on their relationship and reduced it to simply being asscoiates.

Rachni: He saw her as an innocent in the matter that was simply being abused by Saren and co. So he released her. He believes she will keep her word and would rather not kill any being if he didn't half to.

Council: Doesn't mind the Salarian and Asari because most of the time the two of them have valid points but that Turian makes Guardian want to kick him in the face. And Guardian isn't even a violent man.

Virmire: He hates Virmire and it'll haunt him for a while. He'll constantly torment himslf with thoughts of being faster and saving Ashley, things he could've done better, so on and so forth.

ME2: He hates Cerberus for the death of Admiral Kohaku and their other atrocities. Working with them was harrowing and he beat himself up about his decisions many times (and TIMs motives). In the end however the loyalty of the crew was given to him and not Cerberus due to the fact that he left no one behind and was always willing to lend a willing ear.

Miranda: Thought she was a bit of an ice queen at first but now just sees her as someone who wants to be appreciated. Has some issues with seeing herself as merely a tool instead of a person.

Jack: Needs some serious theraphy beyond what he can provide. Is watched incase she flips out for any reason.

Jacob: Pretty much Kaidan but being a hypocrit. He doesn't mind Jacob too much. As long as the man does his job. They're cool

Mordin: Is pretty awesome. Is somewhat relieved that Mordin now sees the Genophage wasn't as easily for his team to accept as previously thought. In awe of the man's genius.

Grunt: He thinks Grunt needs to chill. Is pretty okay for a Krogan thought Guardian can't help but compare Grunt to Wrex and Grunt always comes up short.

Samara: Dangerous but not to him. He dislikes the fact that her code is so black and white that it has no leniancy nor mercy. Respects Samara's drive to follow it and somewhat pities her for her children's condition.

Thane: Expected to dislike Thane due to his occupation but the two of them are on pretty good terms. He's pretty interested in the drell and Thane provides more than enough information to satisfy him.

Zaeed: Thinks he needs to learn the meaning of team and punched him in the face for nearly killing innocents in the refinary. Thinks Zaeed's a loose cannon but can handle himself without need for Shepard to talk him down.

Kasumi: Thinks she's pretty fun. Gave her the greybox though he personally didn't think it was healthy for someone to live in memories of the past.

TIM: Oh TIM...he wants to wipe that smug look off the man's face and arrest him. Expose all of Cerberus' crimes and if the Alliance knew and hide them to expose that too.

And he's pretty much a father to his men.

ey, thx for the cool idea. I will defo try this soonish. Should be fun =D

Gonna go with an aflection of me first. Respect ppl, and are up front with all feelings and thoughts, but can get pissed off quite easily.

Also, i honestly cannot see how you can chose ANYONE above Liara. I mean c'mon, she's the dream girl of ME, AND she's avalible to both genders. Ashley: go to hell, quite ugly in animation, and don't like her atitude. Jack: not even gonna comment on her. Mirande: the only one even close to compete with Liara, yet far from still.

Liara FTW. GET HER BK IN ME3 !

Jon Shepard
Level: Hardcore
class: Vanguard
Background: Earthborn/War Hero

My Shepard is a leader who will gladly die for his comrades and tries to do the right thing, but loves to see bad things happen to bad people.

Joker - sees him as a brother figure, tries to outjoke him
Kaidan - has a great deal of respect for Kaidan's struggles as a biotic and his dedication.
Ashley - hates her racist, uninteresting, religion dispensing ass.
Garrus - sees him as a mirror image of himself. Treats him like a younger brother.
Tali - He sees her as an immature, naive child. Impatient with her. Reluctantly gives geth data
Wrex - Respects his combat ability, but at first, as Grunt might say, "offers one hand but arms the other"
Liara - Goes to her for advice or information. Brother-sister relationship.

Rachni - he'll spare them
Council - spare them as well
Virmire - ashley shall burn with the white hot fury of a thousand burning suns

ME2
Distrusts TIM, but not the Normandy's crew. Remains Garrus' best friend and comrade, and starts to fall in love with Miranda. Begins to lose faith in the Alliance after confronted by his friend Kaidan. Puts the crew first, and does all loyalty missions and immediately launches the suicide mission. No casualties. Keeps the base for the good of humanity and the whole galaxy.

EDIT: Udina on council for his experience.

Alisa Shepard
Background: Spacer/War Hero

I always saw my Shepard as basically a good, upstanding type, but with a really low tolerance for bull****. I chose mostly Paragon stuff, but with the occasional Renegade choice or interrupt thrown in. She would much rather resolve things diplomatically but realizes sometimes you just have to shoot someone in the face. Would rather be respected than feared, but has no problem intimidating people, especially if it will get the job done, or especially if it will save lives.

Her feelings on the various NPCs:

Joker - she likes him. He's like a kid brother.

Garrus - her most loyal and trustworthy friend. The one person she knows she can count on to walk into hell alongside her.

Wrex - trusts him for now, but is preparing herself for the fact that one day she might need to put him down. She hopes it won't come to that, but she understands the Krogan way.

Jacob - good man, and a good soldier. She likes him and trusts him. Up to a point. As long as he carries the Cerberus flag, there's only so much Shepard is willing to trust him.

Anderson - a good friend and mentor.

Miranda - she doesn't like Miranda at first, but grows to respect her, especially after all the crap they go through together. Likes her even more after Miranda tells TIM to shove it. Potentially a really good friend.

Tali - good kid, with the potential for greatness.

Samara - Shepard sees a kindred spirit in a way. Samara is a lot more black and white in her views but they have a lot in common. Samara is a lot more willing to kill when her code demands it though.

Jack - has a lot of sympathy for Jack, and the suffering she's gone through. But that only goes so far. More than willing to call Jack on her bull**** when necessary. She wants Jack to trust others, but realizes it's a long process. For now, she just wants to show Jack that trusting is not being weak. In the end though, she figures Jack will either come around, or she won't. Shepard will extend a hand, but it's up to Jack after that.

^ This. I was thinking there was a Priiize joke in here. But:

My Shepards are all usually pretty similar. My conscience nags at me whenever I do anything renegade(but isn't hilarious) :P

Anyways:

Name: Markus Shepard

class: Infiltrator

Background: Sole Survivor/Colonist

My Shepard is generally fairly altruistic, but as a person he tends to be reserved and task, as it does come with being an infiltrator. He tries to treat everyone well enough, but when it is needed, he'll slap you across the face with bullets. He understands the necessity of being both respected and intimidating. When it comes down to choices that affect his mission, he makes the ones he believes will have the largest benefit in the long run.

Joker - He's a damn skilled pilot, and has a good sense of humor. Markus approves.

Kaidan - A brother in arms, that's for sure.

Ashley - Understands why her stances are as they are, but doesn't feel any warmth beyond comradeship.

Garrus - Another brother in arms, Markus taught him the value of executing people as twisted as Dr. Saleon. He doesn't regret that value when meeting Sidonis, as these are two vastly different cases in his eyes.

Wrex - Great companion to have around. His dry sense of humor fits Markus, and Krogan are in general a specie he likes.

Tali - Professionally approved, and a source of intriguing information.

Liara - Same as above.

Going into ME2:

Sneakier, snipesier, slappier. He's still the same guy as before, but Cerberus gave him some nice upgrades. He diddled Miranda, because she seemed like the only normal enough person out of everyone on board(Tali was too obsessed, Jack is...Jack. And Kelly is annoying.). Out of his crew he generally liked everyone, but wishes Garrus didn't calibrate so much.

No one died on his mission.

Name: David Shepard
class: Infiltrator
Background: Spacer/Sole Survivor

Having spent most of his life in proximity of the alliance and with his parents serving, David always knew he would end up joining as well. He had always taken an interest in the new technologies Humanity had discovered since travelling beyond their system and so he spent much of his free-time studying these technologies and how they could be used in combat. This came alonside his basic weapons training and by the time training was over, his skills seemed best suited for recon missions. His life was pretty idyllic until the tragedy on Akuze where he learnt that the galaxy wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The loss of his team and friends had deep psychological repercussions and the way he operated slightly differed after his recovery. Whereas before he was of the opinion that all situations should be resolved with the right choices being carried out the right way, now he was more impatient and impulsive. He realises that sacrifices may need to be made for the greater good and that there are evil people out there who deserve the harshest punishments. David has an extremely good heart, although there are few instances where he may dish out much needed punishments where others may be afraid to do so.

David is of the opinion that all people of all races are entitled to their own beliefs. He also believes that Humanity needs to fully cooperate and communicate with other species if they wish to grow within the galactic community. This has much to do with most of his childhood being spent aboard starships, it opened his eyes to how small Humanity was in relation to the entire universe and he feels with all the races united, we (along with the other races) could have a real chance of shaping it.

*A few choices he has made*

- He recognised the potential danger of releasing the Rachni queen, but he wasn't prepared to commit genocide against a species he had little experience of. Although he wouldn't have hesitated in killing her if she had broke her word, and he was thankful she apparently hadn't when he heard of the rachni saving an asari on Illium.
- After discovering the truth about Akuze and witnessing numerous of their monstrous experiments, David has a deep hatred for Cerberus, and it frustrates him immensely that there are likeable people within their ranks (Over the course of ME2, a friendship grew with Donnelly, Jacob and he even fell for Miranda, who he saw a little of himself in). He was willing to cooperate with them to save Humanity but was always at odds with TIM, and he always knew once the job was done, he would screw them over in some way, which he did when he destroyed the Collector Base. He also never felt happier than when Miranda herself told TIM to shove it and left Cerberus.
- He left kaidan to die on virmire because he felt kaidan had reached his peak in the alliance, he thought Alenko lacked the motivation to go anywhere with his military career and that Ashley had the potential to do great things. He also couldn't bear to think of telling Ashley's family of her death, which stemmed from his close relationship with his parents.
- I've said why he romanced Miranda in ME2, but in ME1 David grew close to Liara. David and Ashley shared many things ( Losing their units, close families), and he certainly found her attractive, but despite this he couldn't pull himself away from Dr. T'soni. Her solitary lifestyle was something David was always interested in (He spent a lot of his time living in his thoughts) and her shyness was always something he found extremely cute. David's job was to save the galaxy, no easy task, and the way that Liara seemed out of place on his mission meant he had someone to be with that made him feel normal. The fact that Liara was an alien didn't stop him from falling in love with the blue beauty, and it made him glad when he learned there was a mutual attraction.
- What drove him to Miranda was how Liara changed in the two years after his death. Her lust for revenge and new straight-forward, business-like attitude felt more alien to David than Liara actually was. He felt responsible for her change, wondering if anyone he came in contact with during his mission was destined to become almost like a soldier. This made him finally accept his role as saviour of the galaxy and because Miranda was very much already a soldier, all that was left was for her to show she had feelings, which was exactly what she did after she and David saved Oriana. He slowly fell for her, and her for him, as they both realised they were made to be together. The way they operated was similar, and even though their actual opinions differed, there was somehting in each of them that just gelled.
- After Liara and David defeated the Shadow Broker, he saw that the liara he fell in love with was returning, and he had to fight the temptation to go back to her. But no matter how much she seemed like herself again, she had changed, and when Liara told him how much he had brought out Miranda's humanity in an approving way, he knew she was happy for him, and they parted ways safe in the knowledge that they could remain very close friends, with a bond nobody could break.

I love talking about Mass Effect! :)
