Increasingly that seems to be less and less common in RPGs, so that was key for us to hold onto.
SOmething to do with how Laidlaw says that the tactical combat is being done less and less in modern RPGs so they are holding on to that but in a seperate area of the game they have moved on from the silent protagonist to a voiced one and that just burns his biscuits.
