This is annoying and silly. Why doesn't Bioware just *post* the damn code on the website and let all of us copy it? I hate all this "dangling a carrot" type of behavior, as if getting this code is akin to winning the lottery, and worst of all is the fact that it doesn't work!

3 - We are working on a system
to allow users to test their sign up to ensure they get the newsletter
and teh Staff of Parthalan code. tThis will take a day or so to get
working, but we will let you know when it is up and running.

That was a week ago.

A day or so to get working...a week has passed now.
It's getting quite annoying, as I subscribed to the newsletter months ago. This situation is similar to the never-ending wait for the console patches of Witch Hunt.

Weird, I've been a newletter subscriber since before dragon age came out, and I heard nothing of this.  I hope I can still get access to the staff

We are still working on the issue for people who should be gettign the staff, but have not got it yet. It has been a week, but we do not have a date for any resolution. I thought you should know we are still working on it though.

Again, those people who have signed up in October, you will be mailed in November. If you have not yet sign up, you still can.

Except for me, in both Google Chrome and IE, the sign up box is gone. I can't see it. I've cleared cookies and deleted browser history. No dice. ANYONE have a direct link? I don't want to miss out.

That is strange, Ryngard. My browser doesn't have any trouble showing it when I delete my cookies at all. Maybe you have a technical problem with your equipment?

Has there been any sort of talk about extending the promotion if the newletter-verification system isn't up by the end of the month?
There's a fairly reasonable bit of paranoia for those of us who didn't get the code even though we signed up when the promotion was first announced. If it didn't work then, who's to say it'll work now when we sign up a second time? Without the verification thing we're just sort of in the dark until november, after the promotion is supposed to end...
needless to say it would kinda suck to find out mid-november that something was still wrong and we're S.O.L. because the promotion is over...


(or ya know... just include the staff with the hopefully-soon-to-be-announced CE. That'll work for me at least )

I signed up for the newsletter just to receive DA2 updates before I even heard of the staff and "da da da da dan dan BEHOLD" I received my code in my email. What a nice little surprise! Maybe Bioware KNEW you were only signing up just to get the staff (I can seeeeee your SOOOOOOOUUUULLL).

I have a question ..my son talked me into this rpg for a change i like it but when i went to redeam my Stone prisoner the code ahd expired now i feel cheated since no it points me to a staff we are all waiting on and i lost my stone prisoner i am pissed please help as when i bought game i bought it for him then played a few toons finally picked class i liie now it's expired that is crap ....

Anyway, I'm wondering how you can enter the code if playing a console version. Can someone enlighten me?
