I'm thinking that the spam filter may have caught my email of a code if one was sent before now.  I'm happy that there will be a way to validate it later.  Thanks BioWare

I have no idea whether im suscribed or not. I check the dragon age 2 homepage and the box where i suscribe is missing.I fist tried to suscribe here no newletter. I check my subscription accounts and now there is no option to suscribe to the dragon age newsletter as there was before. I had managed to find this page and suscribed to the dragon age newsletter but it doesn't say that i am suscribed. It says curently im suscribed to the bioware newsletter and can optionally suscribe to sonic newsletter and somthing worldbuilder. They should have implemented a system that send out an automartic email when you sign up for the newletter becuse currently i have no idea if im ever going to get the staff. so frustrating!

Anyone have any sugestions, can anyone from bioware help?

Will using an alternative email qualify you for a code for November? Seeing as a I doubt resetting the cookies and simply signing up again would solve the problem, though I'll be happy if it does.

The code doesn't expire, if it says it's invalid that means it's been used already (on someone else's account) or you're not entering it correctly.  It should be in ALL CAPS.  If you're really having issues with the game you purchased, you should enter a support case at http://help.dragonage.com/.  You might also want to consider registering the games here on the BioWare site so that you can access more of the forums, like the technical support threads.

If you mean this subscription site, they removed the DA newsletter option from there some time ago.

I had personally previously signed up for the newsletter on the main DA site, but when the DA newsletter option was still on the subscription management page, it said that I wasn't actually signed up for it. I then changed the DA newsletter option to "yes" manually from the subscription management page, and then re-signed for the newsletter on the main DA site. The subscription management page option remained at "yes", but obviously it's no longer possible to check it. I think there's some info on why it was removed earlier in this thread.

Firefox 3.6.10 works just fine for me, and I've already re-signed once.

If you mean redeemed your promo code(?), it's recommended to hold on to the code until DA II is launched, in case there are any problems that would require you to re-enter the code.

By the way in IE8 your PW is visible on screen

Check your EA master account - everyone has one, it's created automatically with the same login details when you register here. If you've already signed up for the newsletter, then your EA master account should reflect that. You can manage all the available newsletters there, but do so at your own risk. I won't take responsibility if you don't get your email later on.

Yes, I tried to signed up from different browsers too and that happened to me in IE8. Fortunately no one was around to see my pw.

Wait....all the peeps who signed up in Oct can not get their code till november?
I thought someone said a bioware rep said it would take "up to a week"

If it is going to take a full month, that is reassuring news that perhaps should be on the front page. :happy:

Sorry, that site is NOT valid. That was the old legacy site and does not pertain to this email/newsletter. It is an invalid site that we are taking down.

So what is the valid site, SERIOUSLY you guys NEED to be more clear i am getting really sick of this run around bull****, i would really like to know somehow without a shadow of a doubt that i AM siged up for the newsletter i have signed up multiple signs and that site you say is invalid AND the actually Bioware Dragon Age site, I seriously don't see why you can't just give the code to everyone, buy making things exclusive like this all you are doing is pissing people off and creating situations like this.

Ive been a member of the newsletter and had a bioware account since mass effect 1 and I only got one email from the newsletter telling me about the special items for DA2 and i have not gotten either of the to items I am bummed I think that pole-arm/ magic staff is so cool I want it, how come they didnt send me an email with it for godsakes, are they going to auto-link it to our accounts link when DA2 comes out or close to release some of the pre-release 2D game items or the ring for having an account? its really worrying me out I really want the Staff

Im also slightly confused. I signed up for the DA2 newsletter (from the offical website) when this was first announced and the bioware newsletter, and at this time i haven't received a code, or any confirmation of any sort from either newsletters.

Would it not have been easier just to send to the code to all users of the forums who have Dragon Age Origins registered?

Yeah, I have signed up for the newsletter several times too and got no email. I can't find any other way of doing this and really would like the staff, having bought nearly all DA:O and ME2 DLC. Is Bioware going to do anything to make this simpler for those having problems?

Guess what, its working! 

Additionally everyone likes bonus items and this is a way to keep up interest and commitment to buy from a marketing sense. You now have a unique item to use if you get the game which others late on the scene wont. whetting your appetite so to speak

Thanks, the way some people were mentioning different codes and the earlier newletter facebook/twitter sign up it sounded like more than one code was being sent out.

Hi Everyone

We have emailed out a veritible armory's worth of codes for the Staff of Parthalan and if you had signed up for the Dragon Age newsletter prior to or during this summer's conventions you should have now received your code. If you have received your code you can either hold onto the email and redeem it once Dragon Age 2 ships in March or you can register it now and it will be associated with your profile, ready to go when the game ships.

If you have not yet signed up for the Newsletter, you can sign up during the month of October and you will still get the newsletter and the code for the Staff of Parthalan. Head over to the Dragon Age homepage and sign up in teh upper right hand corner.http://dragonage.bioware.com/

If you sign up or have signed up for the newsletter In October, you will be getting your code emailed to you in November.

If you have not received a code and think you should have:

1 - Please check your CORRECT email address. The email it was sent to is the email tied to your BioWare Social account. Some people use multiple email addresses (like a personal one only for family, but a gmail or hotmail for signups to avoid spam, etc). Make sure you are checking the email address attached to your profile and not the wrong account.

2 - You should have signed up for the Dragon Age newsletter which is available here: http://dragonage.bioware.com/ It should appear in teh upper right hand corner of the page. If you do not see it, you have signed up for it (but you can clear your cookies and sign up again. It does not harm things, but it doesn't give you extra codes either).

3 - We are working on a system to allow users to test their sign up to ensure they get the newsletter and teh Staff of Parthalan code. tThis will take a day or so to get working, but we will let you know when it is up and running.

Hey quick question. I followed the instructions in the previous post, and when i signed in it took me to my 'recent activity' and a little slide show has appeared with certain tabs. Does this mean im now signed up or am i still doing something?
