Hey, quick question. I signed up some time ago, but I have'nt received any newsletters or any emails (yes, I've checked my spam, and I've only the one email address). Were this the case, would I still receive the code for the staff?

Don't know what happened to everyone else. But I got my code day one. I signed up for the newsletter around 3 or 4 times to make sure.

This is the same with me. Signed up, but never got any news letters and I haven't got this one either.

Unfortunately, same here. I signed up the momemnt the new of potential newsletter-only item appeared on the forums in the summer.  I never got any newsletters, despite repeatedly trying to sign up on the website, and didn't get the code.

I really don't understand why they did this in the first place. The only reason I can think of is so that people would have a "good" reason to sign up for the newsletter. The only way originally that people would of heard about this promotion, however, is from attending the Games Conferences or watching the Destiny Trailer until the very end.

The only things that people get from those Dragon Age Newsletters are updates on the DLC. In which case anyone who actually knew how to sign up for this promotional item likely already knows about the DLC for DA:O and DA:O-A.

Since they said there are only 50 000 codes to be given out it really doesn't seem to make much sense as to why they did this. 50 000 codes implies that one would want to sign up before they run out, giving the "masses" a reason to rush and sign up. Therefore that means they likely wanted a large sum of people to sign up, but why? As I stated above it is very likely that most of the people that actually knew how to sign up for the Dragon Age newsletter would already be notified about all the DLC.

It does not make sense that they would create this promotional item just so a few people would sign up to the newsletter and find out about DLC they happened to miss or not hear of. So does anyone know, perhaps a BioWare developer, why they did this?

Does anyone have a theory on this that they would like to share?

I really wish my roommate didn't see this. She's been bothering me about it for 8 days now wondering when the testing system will be up and running. I really wish I didn't get her into DAO now 

But out of curiosity when will it be up and running??

The testing system isn't a high priority task for BioWare, so if it's going to be available, it'll most likely be the last week this month.

As you can see Bioware you made and INCREDIBLY bad move offering the staff through signing up to the news letter, its seems like more than HALF of the community have not received anything and are quite unhappy about it, including me.

If you signed up for the newsletter prior to this month and still haven't received it, I would recommend re-signing now so that you at least receive it next month. That's what I did anyway.

Any official word on when/if the newsletter will start working right? I signed up a long time ago and no newsletter (or code for that matter) until now. And yes, I tried multiple times to no effect.
