Yeah, had to cancel and manually redo my preorder to get the "automatic" upgrade to signature edition. Probably going to cancel for good if they can't sort out this staff silliness soon, might as well learn from the past and wait for the "ultimate" edition of DA2...

Yes you will, I'm in China and has been been here for some time now and I get my newletters (haven't gotten the code, but it's kind of hard to blame that on being in China seeing this thread ^^). As far as I've experienced, all sites I visit works just like normal here exxcept Youtube and Facebook and some others, but I haven't noticed any missing mails.

I can also be online as I'm playing, no problems (or as the chinese say 没问题)

Ah, I think we're having a misunderstanding . The reason I can't come on isn't because of China's censorship of certain sites. It's because I'm going on a business trip (well...sorta, I'll probably be enjoying myself more than I'll be working), leaving me little or no time to go on the internet. Plus I'm staying at a hotel and I'm unsure whether it will have a computer or internet available (can't take my laptop sadly), so that's why.

Also, I don't chinese very well (not even ping yin) as I've only started learning, but I think you said, "I have no problems"

Though out of curiosity, how come you didn't use 有 which means to have? I'm not a native chinese speaker so..

Yep, your translation is correct, the reason I left out 有 is because it's often left out, especiallt when you speak. The chinese often speak very short and can omit words every now and then, which nowadays also show in the way they write, pretty much like saying "I like" instead of "I like it". I'm not a native either, I'm just studying chinese and can't even have a proper conversation yet

I'm in Xiamen, in Fujian province (so all you guys freezing your butts of waiting for DA2 can comfort yourself with the thought that at least I will be nice and comfortable, since Fujian is in the south). I'm still walking around with shorts

Lol i never get any news letters or e-mail and i have signed up for it... I even have a Bioware folder for e-mails.

Oh and i did not get the code... I also pressed on the other thing and have not got anything for that either... *thinks* Now that i think about it you always seem to have problems with marketing...

Same here and I am from Spain. The address is EA-Espana@em.ea.com the same address of the Medal of Honor beta mail, so I think it isn't from the dragon age newsletter.

Otherwise, those who received the code said that they received it from an em.ea.com address so maybe it truly is the dragon age newsletter.

Jep, I think we'll have to be patient until the end of November. I'm glad that I received a mail at all. I didn't get any mail before, altough I signed up on August. It's a good sign.

I'm not complaining or being pushy or anything, I'm merely just making sure my subscription to the newsletter went through: I still haven't gotten my Staff e-mail, so I wanted to make note of that here. I signed up for the Newletter back when the DA2 site first launched. Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved soon.

Once upon a time, I *used to* get the DA newsletter, just not the staff code. Now after clearing the cache and signing up once more a week or 2 ago I don't even get that newsletter any more - last one I got was about the Witchhunt DLC, nothing about signature edition. Bravo BioWare, well done.

I got told today that I'll have internet in my room, so it's all good!

Nice to know that, thanks for telling me, I'll keep it in mind while learning chinese. And at least you can probably say more than me, as of now, my arsanal contains: Saying what my name is (or his/her/your), asking what someone's name is, counting to 100, saying my age (or his/her/your), asking ages, saying how many family members I have and whether or not I have a certain family member. Wow Fujian? That's far from Chengdu, guess I won't be bumping into you . I'm going to No.7 school to check out some stuff, also I'm going to the Chengdu Blades Football match final (Got VIP tickets!).

Also it's always cold in England, I'm basically freezing my butt off 24/7. 

But yeah, we probably shouldn't derail the topic, it's nice to meet you though.
