While we're working on something here on social to help you verify if you are registered for the newsletter (and bound to get your item email in one of the upcoming email send outs) - you can try to verify if your account is currently set to receive news/email from EA about DA, which is a good first step.

To confirm if you are set to receive email:
1) Go to www.ea.com (you may be redirected to your local country version of this page)
2) At the bottom of the page (footer), you should see a "Login" link
3) Ensure you login with the same email and password you use here on social
4) At the next page, one of the tabs at the top of the page should say "Contact Preferences", select this
5) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Contact me about EA's products...."
6) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Dragon Age" (feel free to adjust your preference for receiving other game's news)

Thanks a lot Fernando! I did all the steps above, and found out my Master ID wasn't actually completed and my email wasn't verified, so that might of been the reason why. When I checked on Contact Prefereneces, DA was already selected which means that the link on the site thing actually does work (though I turned it off and back on again just in case). I think a lot people need to verify their email and that's why it isn't working. Also, I didn't get the Contact Preferences option on the UK site, so I'd advise everyone to use the US one.

Thanks for this Fernando.

A thing to keep in mind, though - you may have to use the US version of the EA site, because I tried the German version at first, but the login is different and doesn't link you to the page with the "Contact Preferences" tab.

Many thanks Fernando, my email was unverified as well. Hopefully that fixes it.

BTW I don't think going to the country version of the page works, I went to the Aust. page (where I am) and couldn't do the above.  I had to go back to the master site and log in direct from there.

Not to worry folks, there's still plenty of time - you'll all get the item.

If you have not yet redeemed your code, but received the email - either hang on to this until a convenient time, or go ahead and redeem it anytime at the 'redeem promo code' page.  For consoles, ensure the xbox gamertag or PSN name at the top of this page matches the account you use on your console.

If you have redeemed a code - have a look in your 'registered game promotions' page.  You should see the staff on the list.  Again, for consoles ensure the xbox gamertag or PSN name at the top of this page matches the account you use on your console.

I've just updated my EA profile page with the info, although it wasn't already filled in the other day I did receive an email from Dragon Age 2 about upgrading to the Signature Edition, so am hoping that is some sort of confirmation that my details are registered and I'll be in the November email group.

My EA profile is now updated with the relevant details now though, so either way am hoping that helps.

Maybe add that this only works for the USA version.
So far it seems all the other country versions don't have that option.

I had to change from the Netherlands to USA to get that option on my profile.
Seems like I was signed in correctly, so I'll wait and see.

I'm in the UK but also had to go through the US website, once I got on it told me the master ID had not been shosen so I selected one, then had to verify me e-mail address, Dragon Age was already selected in my contact preferences, so hopefully it's been related to not having full ID or verified e-mail, perhaps there's some light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks to Fernando Melo!

You can call me an idiot, but what do I have to type into that field? Just a name like 'noob' and then it will be created or what? Sorry, my brain melted away last night....:pinched:

Yeah, that's all you have to do at that point, although it may have to be a unique name, I would call you an idiot but I'm cutting down on hypocrisy this month.

I'm a little confused about this one as I've been signed up for the newsletter since the beginning and have yet to actually recieve any thing that even looks vaugely like a newsletter do they even exists? ^^; and I definatly haven't recieved a code for the staff as yet, and yes I did check like Mr Melo said and the DA box is definatly checked. Any hints about what's gone wrong?

Dragon Age was ticked there yet I never received the code, so this can't be the root of the problem.

While playing around that EA master account page I noticed that only two of my games were listed: Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Mirror's Edge. I own a lot more and almost all of them require me to log into the EA account, yet this selfsame account doesn't acknowledge them as being there. Funnily the personalities listed besides EA master were BF Heroes and Spore but neither was listed in the game library. I remember seeing a lot more personalities listed a few months ago, including Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Where did they go? Looks to me like there is something majorly wrong with the accout system, beyond this rather catastrophic newsletter handling.

Some point today, can't be have been more than a few hours ago. It's about the signature edition, not including the code so you know.

Well that sucks, because I signed up just two days ago and I've not received the email...does this mean I've not signed up properly?

Jesus, this is becoming a headache.

Doesn't mean you aren't signed up, I've only received this one email atm, I never got the Witch Hunt one, they're probably just closer to fixing whatever's wrong.

well, It seems that I only had to verified my mail. I don't understand why I didn't receive the verification mail when I made my account. Hopefully I will receive my code this time.
