You have to have a Master EA ID, which is separate from your Bioware ID/User.

I originally had my EA ID on a different email and couldn't figure out how to change it, so I set up a new one, using the same email and password that I use here.

If you already have a Master EA ID, try asking their website for help.  In the alternative, you could set up a new one, but Fernando said you need to use the email and password that you use here.

If you aren't sure if you have an account already set up, EA should recognize your email address during registration and tell you if you have an existing account.

Good luck!

Not to worry folks, there's still plenty of time - you'll all get the item.

If you have not yet redeemed your code, but received the email - either hang on to this until a convenient time, or go ahead and redeem it anytime at the 'redeem promo code' page.  For consoles, ensure the xbox gamertag or PSN name at the top of this page matches the account you use on your console.

If you have redeemed a code - have a look in your 'registered game promotions' page.  You should see the staff on the list.  Again, for consoles ensure the xbox gamertag or PSN name at the top of this page matches the account you use on your console.

While we're working on something here on social to help you verify if you are registered for the newsletter (and bound to get your item email in one of the upcoming email send outs) - you can try to verify if your account is currently set to receive news/email from EA about DA, which is a good first step.

To confirm if you are set to receive email:
1) Go to www.ea.com (you may be redirected to your local country version of this page)
2) At the bottom of the page (footer), you should see a "Login" link
3) Ensure you login with the same email and password you use here on social
4) At the next page, one of the tabs at the top of the page should say "Contact Preferences", select this
5) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Contact me about EA's products...."
6) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Dragon Age" (feel free to adjust your preference for receiving other game's news)

You should be set to receive upcoming emails for DA - it's worth reminding folks to also occasionally check your spam folder on your email account.

F.

Mine was set up like you said to and I registered for the newsletter when I first heard about the special item before y'all even announced what it was.

I am using my master ea id there which is the same as what I use here.

Delete the cookie from dragonage.bioware.com that says something like newsletter subscription and restart your browser. It should appear after that.

I did all that, but still no code... should I reregister again?

Signed up for the newsletter and my EA settings should be just right. Have not received any notification about subscribing to newsletter so not sure when to expect to know that it works.

Checked the contact preferences through the ea site. Everything seems to be in order there. Cleared cookies and resigned up through the main site just in case. The first time I signed up was shortly after it was announced. I recall getting the Witch Hunt newsletter. Nothing containing a code yet, but the email must be working - and not sending them into the spam folder - , I'm getting the standard EAWare receipt for purchase messages.

In the event that there are individuals that are signed up before the selected cut off date that do not receive their codes in November, are there any plans in place for us to be able to 'retrieve' a code that has been issued to our accounts? (IE - code was issued, but email got dropped by the postman.)

I signed up during the original promotion period for the newsletter, and liked it on facebook. I also followed the instructions above regarding my EA account, and I still have not received this item.

I think the checking mechanism they're implementing is meant to do something like this.

So, after all this time not only can't BioWare seem to fix the sign-up widget, they can't deploy a tool to query the database to confirm status, either.

Guys, have you thought about hiring another web developer? This seems pretty weak.

I signed up for the newsletter in the beginning of October. Still no code. I do live in Europe though, does this have something to do about it?

And off-topic: Is it possible to change username?

Well, the icons for Awakening skills and talents are still broken on the social page 7 months after the expansion launch, because a copy of them wasn't uploaded to directory the page code expects them to be.
So with this in mind, you're expecting the sort of effort that's pretty much out of the questionImage IPB

I thought I'd just remind everybody that the item codes will be delivered in batches next month, so it's likely to take 7-14 days for everyone to receive their newsletters. So don't panic if you don't get yours right away.

Only one week remains before october is dead.
And yeah, a day or so...that's why BW shouldn't give time estimates.

I have been receiving the Dead Space newsletter for a while, but nothing from Dragon Age.
