The thing that makes me sad is that I prefer making mage characters so a staff is just what I want, if it was a melee weapon I would not care so much.

If it was a bow I would not care at all

When they do fix this up, will we all receive it or do we have to sign up again? Or some other procedure like it was for hindsight?

Don't get your hopes up. I've gotten all the newsletters and the staff has still eluded me for some reason.

Right now the best solution would be to offer the item up in the same way Hindsight was offered.

No staff code yet in my inbox. Honestly.. I'm beginning to lose hope in ever getting the staff. If anything, today just seems to be getting worse and worse for me.

Doesn't appear to be, lots of overlap in regions which got the code and didn't get it.  More likely would be some email address character, like if you had a . in your name or something similar.

No newsletters ever, no code, though I have received a bunch of EA stuff, though that's dried up recently too. Have signed up numerous times and checked my profile on EA to make sure I did everything correctly.



As for Hindsight, well that system worked far better than the newsletter seems to, but since I'm a ps3 player there's no joy for me there either.

We cannot "just make it liek Hindsight". These systems were developed seperately or multiple weeks to be made. The team is working to fix the issues with the staff, but it is not as simple as many seem to think.

We are still working on the issues, but please, lay off the "just make it liek the otehr one" as that is not happening. Thanks.

I got Hindsight. No newsletter, just did it on the website and "poof". But I had to sign up for the newsletter for the third time... which leads me to believe that despite having signed up two times previously, once way back when the staff was first announced and then again during october (by clearing my cache to resign on the main website), I was not acknowledged as being such and I'm not gonna get the SoP.



That, in a word, sucks.

I did get the newsletter. At least I think it was the newsletter. It had an advertisement for preorder of the SE, and an article "Revealing the Rogue". At least I I know my email works. I did not see the code emailed to me. Just as an FYI the email I received was from DragonAge@em.ea.com.
