I signed up ages ago, I received the newsletter for the trailer but have not received a code for the staff yet, or any other Bioware mail - I have had some more general EA stuff though...

I cleared cookies and signed up for it on the main site again. Oddly, I checked the Subscription Manager, and it no longer lets me (I'm not sure if it will do it for others) sign up for the DA Newsletter that way.

yeah the dragon age newsletter seems to have been removed now, as i believe Chris said on the last page, it was a dud.



Seems Bioware Newsletter is the only one we need.

yup but most of us have actually been signed up for a fair while... i dont know if clearing cookies and re subscribing may push you back to the start of the waitign list though? Which me be the case for some of us?

I restarted this thread to remove a bunch of the "I haven't gotten it yet" type posts. We understand some of you have not got the codes yet and, as I said, we are working on it. Please stop posting "I didn't get it yet" messages or, at least, reposting again and again that you have not got it.

As I said, we are working on things and will let you know when we have an update.

I signed up and got the destiny trailer email on august 21, I didn't get the code either. I cleared my cookies and have signed up again. Hopefully it will work this time. Thanks for all the help and understanding Bioware.

ok lets get back to the actual staff, i cant wait to see how it plays in the game. I hope to see a bunch of sweet moves like in the trailer. After playing DA2 at Eurogamer Expo and feeling how fast and smooth the combat is, i really cant wait to see more!!

I might get some hate for this, but it's the only thing I can think of to convey what I want from melee mages... Anyway, I can see mage combat being badass in a Halo aspect, that is using magic to wear down your target as you advance closer to it, then finish it off with a melee move. Hopefully a really cool finishing move.

still id like some cool moves for when you do get into a combat situation, idealy you coudl choose to use it mainly as a staff and use magic, or go combat heavy. Id still love to get into some epic skirmishes with the thing personlly. Ive always loved battle mage type classes!

You dont subscribe in the corner. The box where you enter your email should be right next to the big Hawke on the right side.

I received the destiny trailer email but haven't received any witch hunt or any codes emails. I have checked the junk mail folder and nothing. I have cleared cookies and signed up again to make sure. All I get is a small message in green that says account update but no email confirming I am subscribed to the dao newsletter.

absolutely, thats my hope! This staff should brign some great close quarters moves, with Magic slightly less strong and effective using to make up for it.
