I'm convinced this whole promotion was a total scam to get people signing up for EA spam. I've gotten some Sims 3 bullsh*t, something related to Need For Speed, and probably some other nonsense I had to delete.

And even that seems to be a failure, as it seems many are not receiving any newsletters either. I certainly am not, checked EA.com and everything. Never received so much as a syllable from Bioware except when I purchased the Leliana DLC.

Not to add to the list of every growing people whom have not received their Staff codes, but I too have been stung by the newsletter sign-up bug! I signed up ages ago and was worried that it did not work due to fact that i haven't got any newsletter's in my email inbox yet.

I'am sure bioware will fix this and the world will flood with codes to all the people who signed up. Although, i suppose only time will tell.

Well, according to their schedule of sending out the codes to everyone BW has 21 days left, well 20 days, 13 hours and 4 minutes left on the clock.

$5?  Nope, I don't think so since they screwed up.  The best solution is to just include it in the game since they messed this up so badly.

Indeed. I'm quite certain Prieslty or Fernando will post some sort of announcement when the next wave of codes goes out or when the verification/resend system is up and running.

I am getting those ads for EA store too, but I also got the newsletter about Rise to Power trailer and such. Just have yet to get an e-mail with the code.

Same here, I thought I was signed up for it as I kept getting Dragon age related emails from Bioware (such as the Destiny trailer, and the "Meet Sigrun" letter). I guess I wasn't after all<_<

I signed up when it first became available and have tried signing several more times and signed up for it at the ea account management page, and so far I have only gotten one newsletter and it was for the Destiny trailer, I really hope this will get fixed, but I have my doubts.

how do you tell if your signed up I cant seem to find anything mentioning newsletters on my account or profile preferences I signed up on the DA webpage any help is appreciated

There is a Bioware post about it(it is easy to see all the bioware posts, just click on the bioware icon under the topics name while under the general forums), anyway it says:

To confirm if you are set to receive email:
1) Go to www.ea.com (you may be redirected to your local country version of this page)
2) At the bottom of the page (footer), you should see a "Login" link
3) Ensure you login with the same email and password you use here on social
4) At the next page, one of the tabs at the top of the page should say "Contact Preferences", select this
5) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Contact me about EA's products...."
6) Ensure the checkbox is ON for "Dragon Age" (feel free to adjust your preference for receiving other game's news)

It's strange, I know. I've been signed up since Day 1 and no code either. I checked it a few times and all my preferences/contact information is correct. I received newsletters since 2/20/09! I even have Dragon Age II newsletters predating October and nada. I guess I missed out

Well November isn't over yet. Hopefully they can get this problem fixed as soon as possible. I just pre-ordered Dragon Age 2 and signed up long ago.
