When exactly were the codes supposed to be sent because I never got mine, in fact I haven't gotten any newsletter from bioware.  The only contact I've ever gotten was the email right after I signed up with the activation link.

did everything, no codes, no newsletters. Used my main e-mail address and get quite a lot of e-mails from EA, but never from bioware and definitely not with codes.

It probably is.  I myself get EA newsletters on deals they have pretty much every few days to at least once a week now.  No Dragon Age or Mass Effect ones sadly so the bioware portion may actually be busted.

This is the same problem I'm having. I have been signed up to Bioware/EA news letter since I purchased DAO back in 2009. I resigned up a few times for the DAII since it has been up. I have not seen any email about DAII in my inbox and it is my sole email address I use that is not work related. I hope I can get the staff even though I have not seen anything come through my email for DAII or the staff.

Got the newsletter about this on August 18th, still no code in my email. *sigh*

It would be nice of someone official popped in to this thread to let us know that this issue is still being worked on. The last we heard from anyone was about 2 weeks ago, and as far as I can tell nothing has ever been done to address the issue of people who should have received their codes more than a month ago, but didn't.



I am beginning to suspect that this is so low on the list of priorities that it will never actually get fixed. I invite and encourage anyone from BioWare to disagree with that. In fact, I double-dog-dare you to.

Funny enough I checked the EA account subscriptions the other day (after I signed up for the newsletter on the DA2 page for the tenth time) and found I had not only subscribed to receiving info about DA but also Mass Effect, and I've gotten nothing so far. I did get an EA newsletter or two in the past month, sadly without codes of any sort.

Yeah, they still have issues with the newletters or something. I've been subscribed for around a year, and have only gotten a couple of the newsletters, and no codes.

This PR event was a total disaster. The best thing to do in this situation is to just give it to everyone, it's simply a waste of time to fix or rectify the problem at this stage, especially after 54 pages (not including the original thread). Using the hindsight system is considered as a solution, but it will take time to implement as well. Time they would be better of spending on the game and making it better.

The idea of the staff, as a unique download, just needs to be dropped.

I honestly dont get this. No offence Bioware... Instead of humping around with these problems... Why not just send everyone that have Bioware social account the staff? less work, less problems, well less everything. I have never received a News letter from Bioware and i have been signed it for a very very long time. It was the same with DAO... Its the same with DA2...



So either...

1) Your e-mail system is broken

2) Your "sign up" system is broken

3) Everything is broken

They should include a code with the game to solve this issue or send an email to everyone on their email list with a code for the staff. See, two ways to solve the problem.

I know they have my email address and can email me, considering I just got a form letter from EA about a post I reported.



So they are just **** ups who won't email me my code and newsletters.

The only Bioware newsletters I get are for SW:TOR and thats published by Lucas Arts not EA.

That's a rather poorly disguised trolling attempt. Pst! There are no such things as "alts", as the code unlocks the item for all platforms and characters...
