I'm not coming often on the forums and I didn't know till now that there is a problem with the staff code. Can I still have it or was there something specific I needed to do to prove that I did indeed sign up for the newsletter?

At this point I really think they might as well either run the whole thing again with a better system, or include it with the standard copy of the game on release. This is just getting silly now.

Don't get your hopes high. Some of us have been signed up from day 1 and even received the 1st newsletter, but no code afterwards.

Actually it probably is just the odd person here and there. The number of people reporting never getting a code is likely outnumbered maybe 500:1 by the people who did. The number of people subscribed is far, far greater than the number of people posting, so either most people who didn't get a code never posted, or most people got a code. I'm saying the later is probably more likely.

cool... this answers my query... but just to further clarify... so if I redeem my code now with the same PSN account i have linked with my bioware, when the staff is available for download, I can just go search for it in the PSN store? and if so, when I download it, it will be a free download with no price attached?  thanks!

Well, I find that hard to believe. I subscribed back in July and have yet to get anything beyond ads for the Sims and Need for Speed, the same goes for more than 1 or 2 people as well.

1,000 or so people is still not many out of perhaps 300,000 or more signed up for the newsletter. So while it is the odd person here and there, there's enough people in the total that it adds up. But it is still a small amount relative to the whole.



I signed up the day it was announced, got every single newsletter from EA and for dragon age, but never got the staff code. But I think it is a lot more likely that it worked fine for most people, than it is that say 50,000 people didn't get the code or more, and yet only a thousand or less complained about it.

It takes a whole lot less time than you'd think. It's the same deal as with any other newsletter - and they never had any problems with those. And statistically speaking, there's just no chance that every member on this site (the old one being irrelevant) has signed up for the newsletter.

In fact they had problems before because many people here didn't receive any newsletter yet and I receive only a few not all the newsletters I should receive.
The problem now is that we need to receive a specific newsletter and it has to reach to all the people signed up and this is something they don't had to do before.

I received 1 newsletter here way back when this site first opened, and never another one. I think something is seriously glitched up with the whole newsletter issue. It may be Bioware, or it may be EA, but it just isn't working right.
I still hope, if they can't fix the newsletter problem, they will just post the code on the website, (like I think they should have done in the first place), so anyone who wants it can get it.
