I'm leaning toward EA. Not out of any absurd "EA is the devil!" idiocy though. I was signed up for the Sims 3 "VIP newsletter" thing ages and ages ago and hardly received any e-mails from them, not even the very important announcement about the release being pushed back 4 months <_<.   From what I've read others have had similar problems with EA newsletters and announcements.

But we have no idea who's in charge of the system that deals with DA2 newsletter though.  From the way Chris and Fernando spoke it sounded like it was under Bioware's control.

cool... this answers my query... but just to further clarify... so if I redeem my code now with the same PSN account i have linked with my bioware, when the staff is available for download, I can just go search for it in the PSN store? and if so, when I download it, it will be a free download with no price attached?  thanks![/quote]


Its a good job Bioware don't know the PS3 then!!

I use all my UK DLC on my US account on the same PS3 and again on my Slim. As long as your UK account is active on the PS3 you are using then all accounts on that PS3 get to use the DLC.

Simples.

If only they knew how to unlock the saves!! this has been an issue far longer then the poxy staff that I still haven't got a code for!!

Oh and remove the 10 character limit as well while your at it!!

The staff code I believe is a bioware code ie 16 digits and is input on this site. this adds it to your ingame propmotions.

I may be wrong as again I STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY CODE. LOL.

I signed up the day it was announced, got every single newsletter from EA and for dragon age, but never got the staff code. But I think it is a lot more likely that it worked fine for most people, than it is that say 50,000 people didn't get the code or more, and yet only a thousand or less complained about it.

Well that isn't going to make the 1,000 or 5,000 or whatever the exact number of people who *haven't* gotten their code or any emails feel any better in the next 188 hours (or 7 days, 10 hours and 32 minutes) if they don't receive it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that it's a lot more than 1000 people, most of us just wait (mostly) patiently.



Of course, posting here every five minutes that you haven't received doesn't exactly make any info on the subject easier to find.



I'm pretty peeved by the whole thing, I was one of the people who joined the mailing list when the promotion first was started - only to find that I'd been sifting through unnecessary medal of honor e-mails for weeks because I was on the WRONG list. Oh well, these kinds of things never seem to work like they are supposed to...

And I agree. We should wait, it's not like we can do something else.
It's true, a lot of people post here every five minutes to say "Still nothing", and that doesn't help...but as long as they're polite and don't use insults, I don't see the problem. I guess it shows that they still want the Staff, instead of abandoning the thread.

Although it has been some time since I signed up for the newsletter AND I have also neither gotten a code for the staff nor a newsletter, I prefer to think that “In all things it is better to hope than to despair.”  I believe Bioware is made up of a group of well-intentioned people who make great games and will, ultimately, work to make this right.
